SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) Hundreds of students from around the Bay Area are planning to walk out of school on Friday to demand urgent action on climate change.
The strike is part of the global Youth Climate Strike calling for politicians to take immediate measures to stave off an impending climate disaster.
Scientists have repeatedly told us we need to act on it, said Hannah Estrada, a San Francisco high school student No one seems to want to fight for my future. If no one wants to fight for me, Im going to have to fight for myself.
Hannah, 15, was one of several youths who gathered Sunday at Art Build in San Francisco to make posters and prepare for the strike.

When ‘Soylent Green’ came out I was just a teenager and really believed the future it portrayed was going to happen. It only makes me madder at the scum pushing this global warming hoax getting kids all worked up over their devious lies.

The lefty teachers have been very successful at creating a whole generation of Red Guards. Let’s hope they don’t do to the US what they did to China in the Cultural Revolution.
I kept hearing Generation Z was supposed to be less retarded than the Moronials. Guess I was wrong

Tell them to do their part and keep their yaps shut...lots of talking and chanting makes them use up more Oxygen and ends up putting more CO2 into the air...maybe they should all get a lot less exercise and eat a lot less food too...everything the body has to process means it needs more Oxygen and that results in more CO2 spewing into the air...with their vindictive blather.

Scientists have repeatedly told us we need to act on it, So the "act" is to play hooky from school? Sorry, but just the thought of it proves to me that you're already uneducated. Or, maybe the proper word would be mis-educated.

When did jigging school for a day become a ‘strike’? If they truly want climate change, all they need to do is wake up tomorrow.
