Ann Coulter rips ‘shallow, narcissistic conman’ Trump, ‘lying media’ at Forum Club
Palm Beach Post ^ | Mar 11, 2019 | George Bennett

WEST PALM BEACH — Aside from the 600 or so people who came to hear her speak at the Kravis Center on Monday, conservative flamethrower Ann Coulter says it’s hard to find people she can talk to now that she’s directed her scorching criticism on President Donald Trump and his failure to build a U.S.-Mexico border wall.

“It’s frustrating,” Palm Beach resident Coulter said at a Forum Club of the Palm Beaches luncheon. “I can’t talk to Trump detractors because, as the subtitle to my last book indicated, they’re insane. I can’t talk to the Trump flatterers because they think as soon as it comes out of his mouth, it has happened. No, he’s an excellent talker. It’s just when it comes to doing anything that he falls down on the job.” Rivaling Trump as a target of Coulter’s ire was the media.

“Trump may be a shallow, narcissistic conman, but that doesn’t mean the media are not the enemy of the people. Both things can be true,” said Coulter. She later said the one positive of Trump’s presidency could be the “total destruction of the lying media.”

Good call. Gaijin needs to go back under it’s bridge in Zambia.

I'm frustrated as HE!! too, but this cluster F that we are in, and continued to be in, is not Trumps fault. Not by a long shot. Coulter, and others like her, need to criticize those who need criticizing the most. Those in congress and those in the judiciary!

Yes, she sounds like a little girl mad at her dad because he didn't take her to the zoo. She has no sympathy for the harsh extenuating circumstances her dad is facing SHE WANTS TO GO TO THE ZOO NOW!.

It’s really just a nudge to Trump telling him that he has to follow through on his promise to build the wall

Except it isn’t, really. Ms. Chattering Class had two years to call Speaker Amnesty Ryan a “conman”. Did she? The GOP “conmen” have lied to us for 30 years about wanting a wall. Yet she happily played the con along with her favorites like Mittens as long as it sold books. Coulter knows this is a Dem talking point smear of POTUS and she is lazily piling on. That is all.

She’s character assassinating.

She’s gaslighting Trump’s base with Alinsky style lies. Trying to depress support for him and elect a Democrat. I guess she sells more books with a Democrat in a white house.

“You know darn well that if they make it to the US side the LAW protects them”

That’s the idiot talking points by the dumb ceckless funt, Kirsten Nielson, and congressional rinos. Equating invading foreign nationals with ‘our immigration system’. PDJT can shut down the border and end it all. The Constitution and law is on his side. He’s not doing that.

Something is horribly wrong.

“I thought we wanted Trump to be the Law and Order President...he can’t totally go it alone and still be that...”

He’s the only one that can secure the border and drain the swamp. The two things America needed to be done ASAP in order for us to survive. It’s not happening.

"Who is more likely to listen, Trump or the Swamp Creatures?"

Trump isn't King, thankfully. There just are certain things he can't get done without the help of others. Congress is the problem.

Trump shouldn't even have to declare a national emergency for a wall.

Who put the laws in place that favor "family units" from "other than mexico?" Who put laws in place for a visa lottery? Who put the H1B laws in place, and allowed them to be abused?

The irony is, had congress actually done their job and secured our nations border and stopped the 10's of thousands from flowing in every month...Trump may not have even run let alone won.

Paul Ryan and the rest of the republican "leadership" did their level best to stop Trump on the wall issue.

Bitching at and trying to tear down Trump isn't the solution on immigration.

The ultimate irony is that Coulter was a top cheerleader for the ultimate shallow, narcissistic con-man, Mitt Romney. She was perfectly fine with those personality traits then.

What a loser.

No, he's the commander in chief tasked by the Constitution with national security. He didn't need to 'declare a national emergency'(go to a congressional statute) to secure the border. He's either under the gun of the corrupt state or he's FOS.

Ann Coulter has been dead to me ever since she enthusiastically endorsed Mitt Romney for President early in the nominating process in 2012. That is an action that no conservative would take. I can understand and forgive conservatives who backed Romney when it was him versus Obama but not those like Ann Coulter who started the Romney parade and didn’t just join late.

Trump can’t afford a major interparty conflict with the GOP in the run up to 2020 because it feeds into “The GOP can’t govern” Dem talking point. The GOP won’t support him on the border and he/we know it.

Then PDJT’s legacy will be presiding over the death of America. Time was of the essence two years ago. Texas and Florida are turning blue.

It’s not even a hard choice.

He’s doing what he can - Congress is the bad guy in this - they made the laws and refuse to change them.
You want him to go total rogue and give them ammo for impeachment?

Trump hasn’t been in any position to ignore the courts or overtly militarize the border. He’d be impeached in a new york minute. There is no more bipartisan issue in DC than open borders. At this point all he can do is hang on and try to win in 2020.

A chance he’ll be impeached over doing what is constitutionally mandated(protecting the states from invasion) or presiding over the death of America by doing nothing.

Like I said, not even a hard choice. Something is horribly wrong.

A guarantee he would be impeached. The uniparty can round up enough Trump hating Senators (blue state, retiring, etc.) to remove him under a plausible scenario like ignoring a court order on “refugees”. Guaranteed.
