I don’t see other GOP leaders doing anything other than staying out of the fray. Maybe Ann Coulter should run for Congress. If a bartender can do it, so can she. Then she can see how “easy” it is to fight all of Congress, the courts, the media, the ACLU, etc.

Some people are so in love with the idea of being a pundit that they forget progress.
She needs to understand some things about the will and hand of God. Specialists in a field (e.g. politics) will tend to envision goodness as centered around their own field. But it isn’t thus centered. God calls upon all manner of things to work His perfect will through an ever-erring world.
My question being that if a large chunk of cash has already been approved for building 200 miles of wall/fence, is it appropriate to be asking for billions more at THIS time. If it will be built in six months, that is one thing, but if it will take 2 or 3 years then not so necessary.
She is fixated on the wall and thinks the president can act like a king for it. Congress is where her attack should go.
However she is correct on her dismissive stance of Jared Kushner recently. I did not vote for Trump for his son in law to take on duties to appease readers of The Atlantic.
President Trump needs to look at the people who are around him and ask himself are they the best people to put the American worker first? The American taxpayer first? The American families first?
I believe progress has been halted in part because the changeover of staff has seen more insiders replace original “Trump” people.

Just wanted to thank you for a well reasoned response. I don’t have any fear if Donald Trump uses the power of the President more than we might normally be “comfortable” with. The system we have now clearly isn’t working to protect the nation. The Constitution, Republic, or whatever you want to hang your hat on won’t mean a thing if you don’t protect the nation.
