Democrat Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants Americans to pay more taxes, even though she hasn’t paid her own back taxes from 2012.
A book company AOC founded in 2012 to publish children’s books in the Bronx still owes New York State over $1,870 in corporate taxes, according to public records uncovered by the New York Post.
The state dissolved her company, Brook Avenue Press, in October 2016, presumably due to its failure to pay corporate taxes or file a tax return.
In typical socialist fashion, Ocasio-Cortez’s little "book-publishing company" got cheap office space as part of a city-subsidized program.
However, there are no records of Brook Avenue Press ever having published a single book.
Ocasio-Cortez ignored a July 2017 tax warrant from the state demanding payment of her delinquent taxes.

It’s always “other peoples money” with these asshats. Oh yes, then she brags about paying her 10 assistants $50,000 a year. Yes with OUR money!
I wonder if she was elected legit. Her district has one of the highest concentrations of illegal aliens in the country which is why she’s always yapping about rights for illegals and wants to dismantle the “racist” ICE.
However, there are no records of Brook Avenue Press ever having published a single book.
