Uh Oh: Biden's '93 Remarks About Crime Bill Sound Pretty...Racist

Former Vice President Joe Biden is most likely going to run in 2020. He’s prepping. He’s laying down the groundwork. And Democrats are either unenthused, thinking his time is done (or that he’s a relic of the past), or impatient—some viewing him as a stabilizing force in a field that’s far left, unknown, and rapidly becoming a clown car.

Biden's word choice could also pose a problem with a new generation of Democrats who view the rhetoric at the time as perpetuating harmful myths about the black community.

In the speech, Biden described a "cadre of young people, tens of thousands of them, born out of wedlock, without parents, without supervision, without any structure, without any conscience developing because they literally ... because they literally have not been socialized, they literally have not had an opportunity." He said, "we should focus on them now" because "if we don't, they will, or a portion of them, will become the predators 15 years from now."

Most recent example would be the anti-hate resolution passed in the house. No names mentioned. So, yeah, creepy uncle shotgun joe will get a pass. I mean '93? Not to defend creepy Joe, but when somebody talks about the criminal element and does not mention race in any way, the person who then accuses them of racism is the racist, since they themselves made the blacks=criminals connection.

In a 1993 speech, Biden used racist-type language that is coming back to haunt the 2020 wannabe:

Biden was echoing the Clintons-----then-Pres Bill signed into law stiffer penalties for inner city criminals.......
Hillary took to the mic to burnish her ambitions, and stupidly called the black criminals "super-predators."
"We have to bring them to heel," Hillary insisted.

Black protesters showed up at her 2016 campaign events, reminding her of her choice of words to describe them.

People on the right need to hold their water on Biden until the general election. Then you can attack the gaffemaster and groper when the Dems are committed to running him against Trump. Killing him off now just means you’ll be campaigning against Harris and dealing with all the racist, sexist crap. Biden’s the perfect fall guy - the guy with obvious fails who doesn’t seem aware of them. Hold your water, folks.
