n the modern history of American politics, has there been a group deemed so completely irrelevant, while also being the subject of continuous attacks, even from the president of the United States, as “Never Trump” conservatives? Yesterday, I interviewed conservative commentator Bill Kristol, who is the de facto leader of that movement, of which I am usually a supporter.
The conversation was part of my new Individual 1 podcast, which focuses, twice a week, on chronicling the Trump presidency from a conservative perspective. We hit on a number of important topics, including the lunacy of CPAC, whether it would have been better if Trump had lost to Hillary, whether Kristol’s plan to find a legitimate challenger for Trump in the 2020 GOP primary is realistic, which Democrats Kristol could support in 2020 against Trump, and what the future holds after Trump is gone.

You have to understand their personal financial stake in all of this; if they profess that they are conservatives but hate Trump they will be given the “conservative” chairs as the bone thrown to the right on CNN, MSNBC, the Times, etc. The media knows that they are bootlickers who will say anything for a few morsels and some continued public recognition that they can parlay into unread books, speaking appearances etc. By parroting the Establishment line, they serve as useful idiots for the Left while representing really next to no one other than themselves. There is a word for it in Nevada where in some communities it is legal: prostitution.
And, of course, such a SCOTUS would uphold Hillary’s Stormtroopers taking us out into the back 40 for executions.
We have a mental illness problem in this country. As extensive a problem as opioids I am certain, but we know how opioids are delivered. How are American’s becoming so sick in their heads they believe up is down, and right is left, or in is out?

The “unfunded” tax cut is actually already reaping modest dividends to the Treasury. However, Congress spends so much, much more and Trump keeps rubberstamping the stuff.
Apparently losing is winning. Having 3-4 consecutive far left presidential terms would have been the end of everything we believe in the conservative movement. We would not have a recognizable country. I am surprised we escaped Obama without more carnage. Hillary would have ended any chance.
These people are not conservatives. They are enemies.

I was surprised at the sting of the neocon/establishment attacks on POTUS and his supporters when he announced the withdrawal from Syria. I am talking about “Republicans” here of course. The same folks fighting tooth and nail right now to keep the US border wide open to drug and human smuggling. The neocons lost any support I may have for them forever after their Syria tantrum.

Indeed she would have....and the lower courts too. It would have been an absolute nightmare.The left would be running roughshod over us now. The court would be 6-3 liberal RIGHT NOW. The republic would be doomed to a footnote in history. God forbid any criticize Hillary, you would find yourself in the gulag, and your family on the street.
