President Trump threatened Wednesday not to participate in presidential debates sponsored by “fake news networks.”
Riffing off a decision by the Democratic National Committee that Fox News is ineligible to host 2020 presidential primary debates because of pro-Republican bias, Mr. Trump said he’d reciprocate.
“Democrats just blocked @FoxNews from holding a debate. Good, then I think I’ll do the same thing with the Fake News Networks and the Radical Left Democrats in the General Election debates!” he wrote.

You’re right. Each person at the debate should be able to pick one moderator. Then let the moderators take turns asking questions. That would be simple, and fair.
I’d like to see POTUS propose for the general election debates that each party choose a questioner. The questioners will choose their questions from whatever source they wish. Each one will alternate asking questions. They would have an equal number of questions for each candidate and the same amount of predetermined time. Set the mikes up to automatically turn off when time is up for both the questioner and the candidates. And only the press pool cameras allowed in.
Let each party have the same number of tickets to be given out. No press passes, except for the pool cameramen. Get a game show host to do the introductions. One venue in a red state, one in a blue and one in a purple state. Each party picks the venue in their color state, and the purple state one to be held at a middle of the road public college in a suburb.

The left-wing press has consistently abused their responsibility and privilege, and they simply cannot be trusted to conduct a fair presidential debate.

The enemedia does not deserve exclusive access. The tv feed should be available to every media company to live-stream. I think each candidate should choose the questioner for their opponent, not for themselves. Republicans are very used to fielding questions from adversaries, democrats only take questions from confederate mediots.
