Republican. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky revealed this week that there are at least 10 Senate Republicans who will betray President Donald Trump and vote against his national emergency declaration.

While speaking at the Southern Kentucky Lincoln Day Dinner late Saturday, Paul said that he couldn’t “vote to give extra-constitutional powers to the president.”

What more do they gain by wrecking our country??

Non disclosure of pics of "all the booze and drugs and boys and girls and vacations and yachts and private jets and money"

If that’s true, we have already lost the country and should just give up and learn Spanish.

“Is the ability to declare national emergencies extra-constitutional powers? I would agree that it is.”

In what sense? The POTUS already had those powers under the Constitution. He doesn’t need permission(a law) from congress to secure the borders.

Paul is a grandstanding moron.

Unfortunately, you are having a living nightmare.

I keep asking myself how could we have voted for people who hate our country but more than that they hate us. Look at that pile of excrement Romney. Has there ever been a more duplicitous creature than Mitt Romney??

We need far more than a wall we need our own country.

Pretty soon, GOP is going to mean “Get Out of Politics”.

Enemies of the people.

Ted just got re-elected and Cornyn is up in 2020.
Bush League Republicans always switch the betrayal around depending on who is up for re-election.

“What more do they gain by wrecking our country??”

More booze and drugs and boys and girls and vacations and yachts and private jets and money. “Enough is never enough”, for addicts, and the US Congress GOPe are addicts.

It is not "extra-constitutional".

It is inherently constitutional and anyone who believes otherwise apparently has not read and comprehended the Constitution to begin with.

That only matters because McConnell is allowing it to COME to a vote. Not a damned bill makes it to the floor without his consent.

That is not correct in this case. The House passed a privileged resolution forcing the Senate to take it up within 18 days.

The big money is for open borders.

Time is on their side, the longer the border is open, the less likely it will ever be closed.

I’m completely convinced this nation is doomed.

What’s count copulot doing in that lineup? If Cruz is signing on to this, that means they have more than enough votes to override a veto.

cut them off from any GOP support.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The RNC, NRSC, NRCC, the GOP election apparatus only supports Bush League Republicans.
It’s the candidates that side with the citizens and the rule of law that get no support and most of the time the GOP helps the Democrats defeat those candidates.
It’s up to the citizens to primary out the weasels.
Cruz and Lee always talk a good game but they’re mostly worried about their own careers.
It’s true. Again, they aren’t my numbers but historical political perspective. I see question being how do we respond when/if more than 67 Senators vote for impeachment (I think they will). That answer will determine our future.
Yes. You are a bad, bad person.
And the 100,000 illegals expected to swarm across the border THIS FREAKING MONTH???
ICE has been directed to send them to YOUR county.
You and Rand figure out where to house and how to feed them.
It is too late, but it can get even worse. Look around everyone around me is from Mexico or SA,
everywhere I go, at least 8 of 10 people are foreign born and speaking their native language
it is absolutely imperitive for survival to slow the tsunami of Ocasio types
