I recall when TV dinners were on sale 10 for a buck at Great Scot back in the mid 60’s...and don’t get me started on those Banquet Cookin’ Bags, loved the turkey and gravy (over rice!)...

Dang! MORE snow??? I feel for ya!
You need more snow like we need more rain, and we’re getting a lot more of that this weekend. *sigh*
I had to venture out for a little while this afternoon to run a few errands but it wasn’t too bad. The wind had a bite to it but it didn’t blow constantly.
Now just kicking back.

It does! I love German food. Good thing because we lived there for 3 years while in the AF. :)

I guess. I’m just not a meatloaf person. I think my mom burned me out on them looooong ago. LOL!

I do remember when they were very inexpensive. We ate a bunch of them as newlyweds. I had a lot to learn in the cooking department. :)
The cooking bags sound really good!

Today wasn’t too bad until just before the plumber got here. Poor guy. I felt sorry for him. The wind was really blowing and the rain was pelting! But, he was victorious! lol

You are a German Style Dinner
You are dark, daring and inquisitive. You pepper your language with exotic vocabulary like “Spätzle” and yearn for the olden days the really olden days. Medieval times.
*****
Laf. I can live with that

Apparently, I'm a...
Meat Loaf Dinner.
What's in a meatloaf? Deliciousness and warm memories of mom. Always reliable, you bring comfort, familiarity and satisfaction to those around you. Some things are a classic for a reason.
Could've sworn I was pizza or spaghetti. ^_^

Never buy frozen meals anymore. Too much sodium for me.
Years ago they were handy for quick meals tho.

Whew, y’all aren’t getting a break out there, are ya?
At least you won’t have to worry about the water table running low for a while, just like we won’t. LOL! We’re floating over here.
Yay for the plumber’s victory! That’s always a plus.

No real break for a while yet. Run off this year is going to cause lots of flooding as the snow pack higher up is 153% and it can only come down hill! Not gonna be fun.
I read today they still consider some places 'moderately' dry. Morons trying to keep their bs floating!

Do you like borscht? Or cold beets, onions, cuxumbers and sour cream as a salad/side dish? On my favorites list for sure!

Good choice. Every time I read the “medieval times” part, I think of the torture museum at Rothenburg. Very interesting!
