Exactly! People just expected the government or their neighbor or their family member to be as they always where. So, when things changed, people made excuses for the new evil leftists. They were so used to a peaceful society, they would do anything to keep it that way. So millions acquiesced and let the left run rampant everywhere.
Now they think a single vote for DJT will fix everything and we know it will not.
These people may not be interested in war but war is interested in them. Time to wake up sleepy America or the proles life in 1984 is your future. JoMa
My big idea (which is a non-starter) is to eliminate Welfare programs and revert to something along the lines of “40 acres and a mule”. Get people out of the cities if they can’t afford city rents. Send them to Montana or something and have them grow whatever food they can. Mail them boxes of powdered milk, cheese, butter, beans and rice as well. Take the cities back from the parasites. There is no reason to cram the “downtrodden” into the most expensive real estate in the country.
Of course, my idea is a little too close to sending people out into the field to pick cotton, so no one would support it. But the poor should work to support themselves. Small farms (5 acres or less?) might teach them something.
The education establishment is the REAL culprit IMHO.
It is not only filled with Liberals, but the most extreme radicals to come out of the 1960’s. I saw a documentary on the Weather Underground where they interviewed a bunch of surviving members. With the exception of one bloke who was serving life in prison they all held key positions in the education realm. Bill Ayers has basically been the guy writing our curriculum for thirty years for cripes sakes!
#2 is the primary reason...
They send their schools to places that indoctrinate their children, don’t educate them... PERIOD.
some kernels of wisdom in that, yes
certainly we could start by giving notice to all those welfare recipients that do not have significant disabilities...to get jobs...because their free welfare is gonna end in, say, 60 or 90 days.
I realize this is a throw-off line but we've reached the point at which even it isn't true anymore. Sexualizing children has gone from unspeakable to socially defensible and its defenders are working hard to make it the norm. And what shall we say about a pediatrician and governor calmly and seriously discussing the murder of a newborn baby?
It has turned out that cultural Marxism truly is not an alternate set of beliefs, but the nihilism it was always accused of being. There is no crime in a nihilist system, only power.
The great advantage of the Left in attacking heritage over the past century, has been the diversion of bright students away from the verbal arts and culture related subjects, by the explosion of new business opportunities to better provide for family comfort. Thus those family oriented & conservative are far less likely to be defending their culture, while the ideologically weak and less cerebral are left largely in control of education.
This recognized, one should realize the opportunity created by the new Leftist wave in the Democratic Party, could provide a very long overdue wake up call--but, of course, that depends on our proper response to that opportunity.
Once a new generation starts to get their teeth wet with the ease of demolishing the canned arguments of the Leftist charlatans & mountebanks, the pendulum will swing back.
Here are a few suggestions that might help:
Social Reform: Confusion & "Unintended Consequences"
1. They don’t fight.
2. They don’t culturally promote and ridicule like SNL. Closest thing conservatives have to SNL is Waters World on Fox News Channel. Conservatism is a marketing issue. Needs better marketing. Need a regular network carrier.
I was expecting it to be #1 or at least on the list. He came close in #3. How did he miss the Democratic Media Complex?
You raise a very good point, which is no doubt the reason why the Left is working triple-overtime to censor us on social media and to render our opinions the political equivalent of pornography.
with additional followup after Mr Hawkins responds to Vox:
Vox's responses are big fat Red Pills that many will not be able to swallow.
*****What have we done to get more people back in the church?
Start tinkering with basic church teachings as if we were trying to tailor a marketing campaign for a consumer product. This has been an EPIC FAIL!*****
Good point, that needs more emphasis.
There has been a concerted effort by those who hate God to infiltrate churches for the purpose of destroying from within. This has worked because the church never protected its own by not allowing those subversive elements in.
Judas got 30 pieces of silver for his betrayal, I wonder what the going rate is now? Maybe a little double dipping going on? By people who were marginal at best if not part of the subversion?
My point is that if you are wondering where the will is, the salt has lost its savor, probably because we did not employ the whip nearly often enough as the example of Christ showed when he whipped the traders at the temple.
1. Rid your home of all forms of television.
2. Remove your children from public schools.
There is only 1 reason: Public schools.
Add feminism and the mental neutering of boys and the feminizing of society. Misandry, in one word.
The behaviors of todays young people and many women in politics is a sad witness to its effects.
That's true of Conservatives in general, we don't stand our ground, we just move away to get out of the way, problem is, eventually you run out of places to run away to.
GOT is basically porn. I am embarrassed to watch along with the ladies of my house.
Home Schooling is a perfect example.
So instead of trying to fight for better public schools, simply take your kid out of public schools. That’s great for your kids, but all you’re doing is ceding more and more territory to the enemy.
Who even bothers to run for a local School Board, or even bothers to vote in the elections for that matter?
