The House Judiciary Committee will seek documents from more than 60 people and organizations as it begins investigations into possible obstruction of justice and abuse of power by President Donald Trump, the panel's chairman said on Sunday.
Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler told ABC's "This Week" the panel wanted to get documents from the Department of Justice, the president's son Donald Trump Jr. and Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg, among others.
"We are going to initiate investigations into abuses of power, into corruption ... and into obstruction of justice," Nadler said. "It's our job to protect the rule of law."
"It's very clear that the president obstructed justice," Nadler said. He said it was too soon to consider whether impeachment should be pursued, however.
"Before you impeach somebody, you have to persuade the American public that it ought to happen," he said.

Sounds like an attempted obstruction OF Trump.
Trump obviously obstructed justice by leaving no evidence of RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA collusion.
Of course they want to..because Russian Collusion DIED last week OFFICIALLY and they know the Mueller report will confirm what we already know..there was NO collusion, there never was..so the Commie left know this and have moved on, notice they dont mention Russia anymore, because that fake BS is dead, now its “We want to see Trump’s finances” well guess what, ANYTHING that Donald Trump did as a PRIVATE CITIZEN with HIS own money is NO ONES BUSINESS, period end of story
Everyday I say a little prayer in hopes that the dems keep this up and take their blathering media down with them.
I really don’t think we need to worry about anyting once the Mueller nonsense is wrapped up. Trump can take the wheel at that point. I’d tell Nadless to pound sand. I might use a more colorful phrase, but that would be the gist.
There is my harshly worded post.
Doing my part. I can taste victory.
Nadler says its his job to see that the rule of law is uphealed.what a load of horse shit Nadler would not know the law if it hit him right between the eyes
“It’s our job to protect the rule of law.”

So now is when you’re gonna start, huh? All those years of Clintoonism get a pass.. O’Bammy,, free ride.. Yup.. It is time to protect the law indeed, Jerry.
Go for it. Destroy every last scintella of credibility any democRat ever had thru all those years. We, The Real People know a fraud when we see one.. and we vote too. For now, until you take that away too.
Obstruction of a fraudulent charge is a crime?
So what’s next from the foreigner Nadler...defense against in a criminal trial is a crime??
We know that’s the way Mueller thinks.
Since it was not a criminal investigation, no obstruction. Since there was no crime or malfeasance, no obstruction.
However, the dems did obstruct justice; hugely.
Obstruction, ah yes the vaguely defined charge that means whatever we say it means. If we can’t find hard evidence of a crime, then the suspect must have destroyed the incriminating evidence and is therefore guilty of obstruction. Your taxpayer dollars at work.
They’ve already said that it won’t matter what the Mueller Report says. They’re going to go all out against DJT.
Not even a pretense.
Dims wasting more of the peoples money,
And time, on even more nonsense.
Nadler used to brag about being a Communist back in the day.
I think its time, if Trump has the goods on these scumbags drop the other shoe lets get the party started, form a commission to investigate each and everyone of these bastards and the personnel finances as well, drop the docs now, the American people want to see what these criminals were up to and how we are going to prosecute their a$$es. Im tired of watching Trump field these fraudulent treasonous false allegations
I think every member of Congress ought to be investigated. Their tax returns, lobbying information, sexual harassment/payments, you name it.
