On Wednesday, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Canada ordered that a 14-year-old girl receive testosterone injections without parental consent. The court also declared that if either of her parents referred to her using female pronouns or addressed her by her birth name, they would be considered guilty of family violence.
As previously reported, Maxine* was encouraged by her school counselor in BC’s Delta School District to identify as a boy while in seventh grade. When Maxine was 13 years old, Dr. Brenden Hursh and his colleagues at BC Children’s Hospital decided that Maxine should begin taking testosterone injections in order to develop a more masculine appearance.

Since the court has ruled on how this child is to be raised, it is the court’s responsibility to provide for HER. Parents need to walk away from HER.

Yeah, I was kinda thinkin’ either the courts or the school counselors would take “them” in and provide “their” needs. Seems fair.
Just awful for the parents. The kid is being manipulated. All those testosterone shots are not going to grow a d##k.
Should be ok to say, “I’m gonna smack you, Boy!”

I remember when a treatment for young males feeling feminine was a series of testosterone shots as they grew. NOT to change a girl into a facod of a boy.
Western civilization has long given passing acceptance to genetic females who exhibit masculine traits. Tomboys have always been accepted in society and women dancing with women has never been proscribed by Western culture.
So FTM’s don’t get ostracized much if at all. However it’s not the same for the reverse. Society reserves its greatest revulsion for males who exhibit female characteristics. MTF’s face higher suicide and murder rates per capita than any other portion of the population.
Not extolling any virtues here just saying its the way Western civilization has been hard-wired for centuries. It’s unfair as hell but that’s the way it is. This is really a non-story.
No one’s gonna be upset if this chick looks and acts like a dude. Millions of women already do. With no negative consequences for their behavior.

Uh, I think this goes beyond “Tomboy” classification. Just sayin’.
The people need to rise up and demand this sort of abuse cease. I think some judges need to be hanged.
