A conservative group of street artists has labeled the cable channel run by Jeff Zucker the "Communist News Network."
A billboard that criticized CNN and its president, Jeff Zucker, over a perceived liberal bias sprang up Friday directly across the street from the news network's headquarters in Hollywood.
The billboard at the corner of Sunset and Cahuenga features Zucker's face and faux title, "CEO, CNNPC" and it refers to CNN as the "Communist News Network." The main message reads: "Keep Korea Divided."
Before Friday morning, the giant billboard was being used to advertise a marijuana dispensary, but it has been altered by a small band of conservative street artists who go by the name The Faction, and it is the third time in six weeks the group has attacked a TV channel owned by AT&T's WarnerMedia.
In January, The Faction criticized Bill Maher and a month after that it was John Oliver, both of whom host shows on HBO. In those attacks, the entertainers were labeled "NPC," which, in video-game parlance, means "non-playable character," though in conservative circles it refers to robotic liberalism allegedly displayed by mainstream journalists.

I would think CNN could force it to be taken down, since it uses their logo, which is certainly copyrighted.

It falls under social/political commentary and covered by free speech. They are being ridiculed (and rightly so).
They love dishing out the ridicule, but it’s a different story when they’re the object of it.
Sure. It will be taken down quickly, but all they need is the publicity of doing it along with video and pictures. News coverage would be great but I wouldn’t count on it. It’s political parody, so it will live on the Internet forever.
Here’s a Fox story saying it lasted 7 hours before being taken down. At least they got a couple of news stories out of it. Do you think CNN will do a story?

CNN will force it down. Because of the use of “CNN” which they will claim is copyrighted.
It was taken down in 7 hours because somebody else was paying for the advertising space.
CNN will do nothing. The images are on the Internet forever.
