LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- A leading Democratic state lawmaker says she is working on plans for 2020.
State Senator Joyce Elliott (D-Little Rock) has served multiple terms in the Arkansas Senate and Arkansas House. She previously ran as the Democratic nominee in the 2010 election in Arkansas's 2nd Congressional District, losing to Republican Tim Griffin.
Some Democrats have mentioned the possibility of Elliott running in the 2020 U.S. Senate race against incumbent Republican Tom Cotton.
On Capitol View, airing Sunday, February 10th, host Jessi Turnure asked Elliott if she had any plans for 2020.
"My plan for 2020 is to do the thing I know is right for me to serve my state," Elliott said, "And I'm working on it. How's that? I'm thinking on it."

At least the Dems have fielded lots of candidates, not like the last election in which Hillary was “deemed” the next President, so only had Bernie and some unknown as a Dem contender in the “formality” of an election she was assured to win.
Funny when the dim’s best chances are Serial Groper Funny Uncle Joe, Berniezuela, and Horizontal Harris.

Lord I live here in Arkansas and this woman is a total loser and Big Liberal. Never met a Tax she didn’t like or a Nanny State Law she did not vote for.
Her problem is she is in a very Conservative state and she has tried to run to Federal Office and been rebuffed.
This article does not make clear just what she might run for, but please let run for President and make a total ASS out of herself.
