A Florida school teacher called for a coup against President Donald J. Trump on Facebook while attempting to make a point about the situation in Venezuela.
Leopoldo Mutis, a Colombian immigrant who lists his employment as a teacher for Miami-Dade County Public School System, publicly called for a coup against President Trump in a Facebook comment section of a post by The Young Turks after decrying the administration’s stance on the crisis in Venezuela.
“I guess this imbecil [sic] doesn’t realize that in the USA there is an opposition that doesn’t like Trump,” Mutis wrote, “We should stage a coup against Trump based in the stupidity this gut [sic] is saying!”
When another Facebook user pointed out that most supporters of President Trump are also avid supporters of the Second Amendment, another pro-Maduro user referenced the David and Goliath biblical story, suggesting the hypothetical coup was not meant to be peaceful.
Mutis, ironically, said that the failed Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, who is only internationally supported by Cuba, Russia, and China, will never be allowed to leave office because the Venezuelan people support him.
“A coup d’etat will neve [sic] take place in Venezuela beacuase [sic] the Venezuela people are willing to fight for their president and defend their land and their accomplishments!”
This call for an apparently violent insurrection comes only two weeks after disgraced former Deputy Director and Acting Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe admitted on “60 Minutes” to openly attempting a coup against President Trump before he was fired.

Well, that guy admitted in a “60 Minutes” interview with Scott Pelley, which will air in full on Sunday, that he and other member of that totally unbiased Department of Justice, strategized about how they could remove President Donald J. Trump from office after that doddering fool Comey was fired for cause.
“There were meetings at the Justice Department at which it was discussed whether the vice president and a majority of the cabinet could be brought together to remove the president of the United States under the 25th Amendment,” Pelley said Thursday on “CBS This Morning,” promoting his meeting with McCabe.
“The highest levels of American law enforcement were trying to figure out what to do with the President,” Pelley continued.
The American left, including public school teachers who apparently cannot write a single Facebook comment without typos, seem completely enamored with the idea of removing President Trump from office by any means necessary.
Let a conservative teacher, or a conservative anything, try this when the next Obama is president, and see how long he keeps his job and his freedom.
