I’m so sick and tired of DOJ officials having special privileges. We are becoming a feudal society where lords, dukes, gentry have special rights and protections compared to the peasantry.

They knew the guy, maybe were friends with him or his family, and didn’t want to ruin his life or leave him ineligible for his retirement.
