Hmmm.
To: BlackFemaleArmyColonel
Cause they wanted to use it to spy on Trump.
Everybody knows microphones to those things can be hacked.
Mueller needs to be called on the carpet for this.
To: BlackFemaleArmyColonel
Presumably he left the recorder on. Of course that would be illegal but hey, there ends justify the means, right?

(Often wrong, but never in doubt!)
To: BlackFemaleArmyColonel
McCabe did not explain why he included the detail in his book.

Perfectly innocent. No open mic or anything

And just how exactly was this phone retrieved? Someone on the inside readily available to retrieve it? Who was that someone who retrieved it?

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)
To: BlackFemaleArmyColonel
I’d say that’s the same thing as wearing a wire. It should have been seized. And why would McCabe even know this?
To: BlackFemaleArmyColonel
I’;ve done this. It’s very basic

The phone detail is particularly curious ... but even before that:
In this same meeting Rod talked about interviews with candidates for director. Then he flipped back to talking about possible candidates for the special counsel job. It was hard to track whether he was talking about candidates for one job or for the other. One minute, he said Mueller had been asked to interview for the position of FBI director; Mueller had gone in for an interview with Trump ..."
Because if POTUS was interviewing the Mule for SC ... then ... TBD ;)

Yes, but I’d like to know what bugs and other listening/spying devices the Obama administration left behind the walls and under the floors in the White House.

( The following statement is false. The previous statement is true.)
To: BlackFemaleArmyColonel
I bet he never left a phone but instead the room was wired. Leaving the phone was to say something was recorded innocently.
To: Buckeye McFrog
There was nothing there and thats why Rosenstein offered to wear a wire.
Anybody who thinks Rosenstein DID NOT wear a wire is being quite naive

Everything McCabe does, writes and says these days reflects his paranoia and fear that he’s going to be exposed and have to face real accounting for his crimes. He’s scrambling.

(Our next president is going to be sooooo boring.)
To: BlackFemaleArmyColonel
I’m going out on a limb and just ask the question.
Is it even a sure thing that anyone, I mean anyone, visiting the President, any President, in the Whitehouse, would be allowed to bring in any kind of electronic device?
Another thing, if Mueller left his phone in the office that implies that he took it out during the interview. It implies that he had bigger issues on his mind than speaking with the President. It implies that no one on Whitehouse staff or the Secret Service was monitoring the visitor. It implies that the President or his staff or the SS would be completely oblivious to any kind of 3rd grade spying techniques.
I think this is fake news. The purpose is to make people think that there is an electronic record of illegal conversation or conversation about illegal activity. I seriously doubt that there is any place more secure in the world than the Whitehouse.

Exactly right!
I've been saying the same thing ever since it was revealed that the DOJ and FBI heads discussed getting Rosensteing wired for discussions with the president.
It's being discussed now, only because they didn't get 'the goods' on the president from the president himself. In any case, it's a violation of law, and people should be facing prosecutions, many of them.

McCabe seems to be protecting himself from possible problems with Mueller or needed to gently threaten him.
