I’m going out on a limb and just ask the question.
Is it even a sure thing that anyone, I mean anyone, visiting the President, any President, in the Whitehouse, would be allowed to bring in any kind of electronic device?
Another thing, if Mueller left his phone in the office that implies that he took it out during the interview. It implies that he had bigger issues on his mind than speaking with the President. It implies that no one on Whitehouse staff or the Secret Service was monitoring the visitor. It implies that the President or his staff or the SS would be completely oblivious to any kind of 3rd grade spying techniques.
I think this is fake news. The purpose is to make people think that there is an electronic record of illegal conversation or conversation about illegal activity. I seriously doubt that there is any place more secure in the world than the Whitehouse.
Wow. Good.
Obviously not all that secure. Look at what Omerosa got away with.
Omarosa did. So, that’s makes Mueller, Rosenstein and Omarosa and counting.

Yes. But there exists technology now that can mimic and alter a person’s voice much the same way a photo can be photoshopped. Scary times are upon us.
Ostensibly, Mueller could claim the President said something that he did not say but he won’t because it would be foolish. Donald Trump speaks knowing every word he says is history. Many Presidents before him thought the same way, for example, Abraham Lincoln.
Further, the President always has tapes of his meetings and an advisor or inner circle member with him.
So if McCabe is thinking there is an opportunity to manufacture evidence (something he has done many times in the past), he either lacks intelligence or is dreaming.
And how would McCabe know about this forgotten phone? Mueller wouldn’t call the FBI to retrieve a phone left behind. More than likely, if it even happened, White House staff found the phone and had an aide return it directly to Mr. Mueller.
