Become a ‘congress critter’ and you can live with your hand in the wallet of hard-working tax-payers and at the same time piteously complain about your low-paying salary and cost of living expenses.
To: blueplum
Puke politicians living off our tax dollars. Not a care in the world. It aint there money, so screw it!

It didn’t get mentioned in national news, but the mayor of Atlanta and several city staff members....went off to Cape Town back in 2017. Same type of visit, at city expense.
I don’t have an issue if the individual wants to spend their own money, and it’s just a vacation. Once they say its for official business, or discussions....then it begs questions.

Better to have them out of the country than having them cause destruction here. $60,000 is a bargain.

From the article: "The trip was paid for by Global Citizen, a nonprofit that lobbies for anti-poverty programs around the world, the Washington Examiner reported."
It was not funded by taxpayer money (but was certainly a bribe).

Congressional Black Caucus.
Nothing will be done about this. They can get away with anything.
