From the article:

"So the suggestion that there’s ever going to be civil discourse in this country for the foreseeable future is over," said the former federal prosecutor. "It’s not going to be."

"It’s going to be total war," he said. "And as I say to my friends, I do two things – I vote and I buy guns.”

It’s hard to disagree with DiGenova’s suggestion to vote and own guns to prepare for the worst. I don’t know if we’re actually experiencing a civil war yet but it’s definitely moving in that direction. The press has lost all objectivity, federal judges rule by their political whims without a regard for the Constitution, students are routinely indoctrinated, etc, etc.

"So the suggestion that there’s ever going to be civil discourse in this country for the foreseeable future is over,"

And of course, "civil discourse" to a regressive means you have to agree with them on everything. So, Joe is right, the two sides are drifting further apart.

This is a stunning comment coming from a man like DiGenova.

Interesting advice, but we’ll get buried eventually if we leave our children in government schools. When will we wise up??

I don’t think he understands, the Left conspired with RINOs and Foreigners. They are now positioned to defeat us electorally forever.

There will be no civil war unless we launch one, and we simply refuse to do so. It’s nothing but South African decline from here on out.

This isn’t about guns or civil war. It’s about people challenging the Establishment when they continue to send the same people back to DC because this time they’ll do what they promise. This is about not sending back people like McConnell, Graham and all the others. Not all of these guys had/have primary challengers, but when they do, the challenger is usually soundly defeated. Yet, so many people will say that they don’t known anyone that voted for McConnell, McCain, Graham, etc.

It’s about not holding these people responsible or accountable. The $17,000,000.00 in sexual harassment payouts, using our money, is a prime example. I wonder how many loudmouths in Congress would still be there if that list were ever made public. If police records are public records, how come no one knows what actually happened to Harry Reid?

It’s about Liberals that have money, supporting policies that do not effect them. It’s about going to someplace like Virginia Highlands, in Atlanta, and moving in some 3rd world refugees and illegals with unaccompanied minors. Forcing them on those rich liberals and seeing how they like it. Lets see how hypocritical they really are, when they’re forced to live with the policies they support with their votes and their money. How about we go to the Toco Hills and Emory area and move in some muslim refugees from Syria and Iraq. Lets see how the very large concentration of Jewish liberals like their new neighbors.

The Left can round up folks by the thousands to protest anything and everything under the sun. Most of the time the protesters don’t even know what they’re protesting.

But, for some reason no one on the right can round up anyone to head to DC to show some support for the President. Can I do it? Nah. I’m a nobody, that just works and pays my taxes to support illegal alien kids in the local school district that I don’t use.

What would happen about a million or two, showed up one day to show their support for the President and what he’s trying to do? Imagine what would happen if those two million or so, did it armed and took a calm, leisurely stroll past the Capitol Building.

There. Fixed it.

So the suggestion that there’s ever going to be civil discourse in this country for the foreseeable future is over

The game plan of the Left hasn't changed in over a century: get control of the state and use state resources to destroy their enemies. Clinton's and 0bama's corruption of federal intelligence and law enforcement organs is a case in point and an indication of how close to the brink the country really is.

One fundamental problem is that control of media and academia has given the Left a very mistaken impression that victory is at hand, that they are now in a position to demand a "discussion" in which they are always correct and no one else has the right to speak. That's the sort of thing that tends to start fights that nobody can stop.

The radical left are in firm control of our corrupt stasi state, corrupt courts, fakestream media, skools, hollyweird and social media. And the blue states are in open rebellion to the Constitution—the rule of law.

The left are on the march and I haven’t seen any indication out of this admin that they’re going to crack down on this lawlessness.

He is several decades late to the game... However, better late than never...

Our modern-day "Stamp Act" occurred in the 1960's and 1970's... Our modern-day "Boston Tea Party" occurred in 2009-2010...

The time for our modern-day "stand at the bridge" cannot be too far away...

A year ago I would have disagreed with his point of view. I don’t anymore.

The Leftists care not at all about wounding the country with a civil war. In fact, it goes right along with their desires. Sort of like the attitude that enabled the Civil War, except the rhetoric is not quite as rabid, yet, as it was back then.

Usually in a civil war all sides suffer casualties. Sadly, the left is almost untouched so far.
