Of course - what they DON’T tell you - is that they count every Bible-thumping Christian group that stands against homosexuality and the entire LGBTQ agenda (even if they only do it via preaching and teaching the truth) as “hate groups”.
Interestingly enough - they do NOT generally count groups that are racist against White Americans... or Christians.

Trying to get the hoaxers out of the headlines and “justify” them at the same time...seems like all the leftist “victims” commit more havoc/violence than those they rail against.
Remember when a Trump campaign headquarters was burned down in North Carolina during the 2016 election? Did the FBI ever find out who committed the crime? No. Did the SPLC ever condemn the crime? No.
about 20 years ago the SPLC’s “hate map” had a big red dot on a place near where I lived. That dot represented one guy who sent “white power music” from a PO box. Another big red dot in my state represented a self-proclaimed “militia” which local coverage had written about, which was composed of 5 guys, two brothers, and their 3 cousins. Other red dots were of unknown “groups” and “organizations”. Essentially, the map made it look like my state was a “hotbed of hate”.
I checked the map, and it doesn’t look like there are many “hate groups” here in upstate SC at all.
Maybe I ought to start one?
