The infamous anti-Trump dossier, once toasted by the FBI and liberals, has faded from Washingtons political dialogue.
The FBI had embraced the opposition research written by former British spy Christopher Steele and funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee in 2016. Congressional Democrats frequently cited its unverified collusion charges in 2017.
Today, Democrats seem to have left the document behind.
References to the dossier are nonexistent in The Threat, the newly released memoir of former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe. There is also no mention of dossier writer Mr. Steele or Fusion GPS, the investigative firm that hired him and continues to investigate President Trump with Democratic funding.
Michael Caputo, a Trump campaign adviser who endured hours of investigators questions over Trump-Russia suspicions, told The Washington Times that he isnt surprised Mr. McCabe left all of it out of his book.
The dossier is the linchpin of McCabes meddling in the 2016 election, and the Russian intelligence information provided to him by the Clinton campaign was central to keeping an important stage of the bogus Trump investigations alive, Mr. Caputo said. Now that we know he weaponized FBI investigations to destroy the president and his allies, it doesnt surprise me at all that hed like us all to forget the Clinton-Kremlin dossier. The dossier will be his undoing.
Mr. McCabe had at least one key meeting about the dossier in August 2016 as the FBI ramped up an investigation of the Trump campaign. His close bureau associates, agent Peter Strzok and counsel Lisa Page, also received dossier briefings during the campaign. The trios briefer was Justice Department attorney Bruce Ohr. A word search of Mr. McCabes memoir comes up empty on Mr. Ohr.

I think they seriously thought that the bed-peeing prostitutes story would scuttle the President’s election chances.
I agree, they thought it would be in the bag with the leftist media supporting the lie.
...except for one small part of the plan that went wrong...
Compare Trump to a clump of something at the side of a cliff, that America desperately hangs onto. Who cares what we’re clinging to, as long as it keeps us from falling completely into the Deep State abyss? If we hang on, maybe, just maybe, we’ll be able to drag ourselves back out.
Why does Bruce ohr still have a job???
Lets wrap this Freepathon up, Folks!
It served its purpose, to give the deep state a laughingly flimsy reason to get a FISA warrant and set up Trump for impeachment over obstruction of justice charges for interfering with the bougus investigation.
Why does our side do nothing?
Let us know when they're hanging from nooses as Hitlery predicted.
In truth, no one will be charged. No one will see the inside of a court room. None will be convicted or sentenced.
It's all kabuki theatre.
I know, I know...(sigh) I know. But at least their plan was thwarted. At least the details are documented and are known to anyone who takes the time to look. At least they have been removed from positions of power. McCabe won’t get a pension. His book may succeed, but I think he has opened a can of worms for himself. Hillary lost her election. Maybe this is as close to justice as we can get. It’s not fair, but we should savor what small victories we can.
That is the silver lining -- Hitlery lost and we don't have to listen to her gloating over her victory.
Tell you what, 1 hr before the muller report goes public, Mr Trump should de-classify every paper having to do with the investigation, including the unedited dossier.
How many things have they thought were the proverbial “last straw”, only to watch him not only survive but become even stronger.
He’s like Van Helsing to them.
