And it will be a circus. The professional outrage machine won’t believe and, quite frankly, doesn’t care, if Jussie Smollett is lying and if the police can prove he is lying. Its all about the narrative. A chance to get their faces on camera protesting Racist America. One amusing side note will be listening to the interviews of the morons who show up to protest.

I am surprised that he is supposedly vowing to fight the charge. It sounds like they have an air-tight case and they have independently interviewed the two brothers who likely provided the same details, clearly purchased items used in the farce on video, have a check from Smollett, and told a grand jury all about it (on the record).

I wish these phone and email scammers that are always plaguing me would get an idea about how easy it is to play liberals... All you have to do is check all the right boxes and triggers (MAGA hat, Christian, white, pro-life) and they will fall for any scam you have!

I hope he also gets a large punitive fine for libeling white Trump supporters (plus jail time).

both actions elicited the sort of publicity desired. The Stone raid was to intimidate conservatives and especially close Trump supporters and family. The Smollet process was to both let the hoaxers know that the game is not risk free and to avoid a cascade of accusation and odium coming down on the heads of the police.
