That's very, very possible. The sequence of events could have gone this way:

1. AOC starts spewing some stupid things...
2. RAT Old Guard, Pelosi et al. approach her with advice...
3. Occasional Cortex, being the arrogant little Chihuahua she is, told them to stuff it - after all, SHE is the new fresh face!...
4. Pelosi and Hoyer probably then said "screw her - she wants to crash and burn, we'll get out of the way. Then we can say 'Oh what a pity - we tried to help her'".
5. Occasional Cortex is starting to melt down with her public responses. Pelosi smiles.

Actually, the evidence all points to evolution from a common ancestor.

Had there been a single creation event, one would expect that genes with the same function across species would have exactly the same sequence. And that genes for functions that are unique to a species would have no homologies to any other gene in any other species. However, neither one of these is the case. Even though we share many genes and metabolic pathways with countless other species, they are also different in ways that are consistent with arising in a common ancestor. That is, gene X would be most similar between chimps and humans and less similar between humans and non-primates.

Again you are making assumptions that cannot be proven.

Why would anyone assume that God would choose to do the same function the same way in all instances? He is a very creative God.

The whole genetic record of the world is ALSO consistent with creation. You cannot “pick favorites” when the evidence shows either option is possible.

(The bible shows a sequence of creation events over a period of time, not just one event)
