How does a prison prepare for the arrival of known escape artist and Mexican drug kingpin, Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera?
For the ADX "Supermax" prison in Florence, Colo., former warden Robert Hood said administrators will likely stick to the a formula that's prevented any jailbreaks for 25 years.
For 23 hours out of the day, El Chapo would be in a soundproof, 7-by-12-foot cell. The bed, desk and stool are all made of poured cement. While most inmates are given a black-and white-television, it's behind a special kind of glass and can be restricted to show old, never live, programs. Their only actual view of the outside world is a 4-inch window.
When El Chapo is sentenced in June, he's expected to receive life without parole. Former Supermax warden Hood believes there's no other prison better prepared for the drug lord than that in Colorado.
"When you look at El Chapos escape history, his violence, his access to funds and people, within the system its not even questioned," Hood said. "He will not go to a camp, he will not go to low-security or even a penitentiary. He will come to Colorado at the nations most high-security prison."

I’m guessing there’s no access to FreeRepublic there, huh?
There are inmates who have been there since the '90s.
"What is this 'internet' of which you speak?"
Wonder how many Democrat politicians.....
Its not just Democrats. The Cartels dont care about party affiliation they just want open borders.
I hear he outed Hitlery and others at his last hearing, Arkancide before he gets there.
I was under the impression that drug kingpins were eligible for the death penalty under a law signed by Bush the first. Is that not correct?

Well... he could do calisthenics and bible reading.
I wonder if he gets a Bible. I mean, heck, the Bible says any sin can be forgiven and the last thing the thief on the cross stole was heaven and Christ was glad to let him have it. I actually believe Susan Atkins will be saved. She murdered Sharon Tate but if she was sincere, she converted to Christianity in Jail and claimed Christ as her savior for the rest of her life until she died. Sharon Tate? Not so sure....topless, movies about the occult, etc. God’s grace is amazing and who we will see and not see in heaven may be surprising. Just saying.....And remember, Paul persecuted Christians and then became God’s man in the new testament.
That’s why I lead a crime free life. I like freedom and sunshine. I would lose my mind if I had to live in a cell and would likely kill myself.
Range 13 will break him
Angela’s article does not report the truth about construction and thus places her whole report in jeopardy. She reports cement construction whereas the prison provided drawings clearly indicate concrete construction
I’m guessing he will have access to a Bible. If you look up in post #34, you’ll see a Gideon Bible sitting on that little concrete desk.
He will provide very large bribes to lots of guards. They will let him go and then continue to service the cell as if there is someone there.
Chappo might provide a person to fill his space. The person can’t bitch because he is incommunicado
30 days is all he needs, in a walk in freezer.
I’ve seen reports that when the US extradited this guy from Mexico, they had to agree not to seek the death penalty for him.
Glad to hear this. God is willing that ALL should repent. Who knows.....I think even Ahab did and he was one bad guy. Thanks.
they had to agree not to seek the death penalty for him.
Thats too bad.

You know what would be cool? If the President personally shot El Chapo in the head and put his corpse on a stake to be placed at the border as a warning for other drug dealers.
Love the head in a spike idea!
Im going to agree: There are members of Congress that are puppets of drug cartels.
