How the Hell can we trust Congress when Omar and her deranged Marxist Gang hold such power?
Trump would be within his right to shut congress down and declare Martial law. Hes the only one left we can trust
Youre 85 farakkhan.....your time is almost up here
Slightly off topic, and I’m obviously no expert in churches (or mosque or whatever Farakhan has), but it strikes me that there are a lot more discussions of things political in churches/mosque has than a typical synagogue Shabbos service, for example.
I’ve been going to shul for a long time now, and except for a prayer for the welfare of the national government (generally in the nation in which you are residing) and its leaders, I can’t think of a time politicians ever get mentioned.
Is this a normal thing?
I think predominantly African-American churches are exempt from IRS prohibitions against political campaigning during services.
Long-held hostility does take its toll on the soul and yes, the body as well. There is no positive benefit from continued animosity and antagonism, and yet, it is being encouraged and even cultivated.
Like keeping a garden filled with no beneficial plants at all, but consisting purely of what are considered to be weeds by any definition.
No good can come of such a harvest.
Lock this bunch up when the Terror attacks start
Ha. No, I was thinking theologically. In Judaism, we pray for the leaders of the nation we are in, to be wise, follow G-d, etc.
Dates back to the Babylonian captivity (and was quite shocking, given the anger at being taken as a captive).
Other than that, the service is generally devoid of politics.
Farrakhan is almost all politics and morals. His sermons on homosexuality and women would get you banned from public life.
it is always so peculiar... to see a black man advocating for Islam when Moslems were most of the “hunters” and traders that captured and sold the black people into slavery
and, where slavery continues to exist in some Moslem countries today
and his anti-Semitism is also very odd, given that the Jewish people were among the first to limit the abuses of slavery (”you must provide food for your servants before you eat yourself”)....and.. eventually...abolish slavery outright. Further, the Jews provided the Biblical moral values that inspired the mostly-Christian ministers of America to lead the abolition movement in the 1800’s.
And, there were no shortages of good Christian and Jewish people supporting and marching with Dr. Martin Luther King to help expand civil rights for black Americans.
this Farrakan guy is selling black people a great big pile of lies and poison juice
Notorious Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan defended Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., for implying on Twitter last week that the pro-Israel lobbying group AIPAC compensated lawmakers in exchange for supporting the Jewish state.
In remarks at the NOI's annual Saviours' Day celebration Sunday at Chicago's United Center, Farrakhan condemned lawmakers who pressed Omar to apologize in the wake of her remarks. ..."
Omar tweeted on Feb. 10 that congressional support of Israel was "all about the Benjamins, baby," a reference to a 1997 rap song by Puff Daddy.
When Batya Ungar-Sargon, the opinion editor of The Forward newspaper, asked Omar who she thought "is paying American politicians to be pro-Israel," the congresswoman answered: "AIPAC!"
The tweets were met with backlash from members of both parties. President Trump called on Omar to "resign from Congress or ... certainly resign from the [House] foreign affairs committee."
The chairman of that committee, Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., said it was "shocking to hear a Member of Congress invoke the anti-Semitic trope of 'Jewish money,'" while House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., called the comments "deeply disappointing and disturbing."

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, a notorious anti-Semite who recently compared Jewish people to termites, led a "Death to America" chant Sunday during a solidarity trip to Iran.
Farrakhan's trip came ahead of the Trump administration's re-implementation of U.S. sanctions against the Islamic Republic on Monday.
Speaking to law school students at the University of Tehran, the 85-year-old Farrakhan said America has never been a democracy, and also led a Death to Israel chant at the end of his talk, according to Iranian news agencies.
Today, I warn the American government that sanctioning Iran is a big mistake, he said at a meeting with the Secretary of Irans Expediency Council, Mohsen Rezaei. Farrakhan noted his belief America is conspiring against Iran.
Farrakhan's trip coincided with the 39th anniversary of the 1979 seizure of the U.S. embassy in Tehran, when more than 50 American diplomats and civilians were held hostage for 444 days. The incident kicked off the Islamic Revolution, and Farrakhan told an Iranian audience that black Americans should be considered among the revolutionaries. The infamous activist cited the actions of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khomeni, who ordered the release of black Americans among the 1979 captives.
Video of Farrakhan leading a Death to America chant once again sparked calls for Democratic leaders to distance themselves from the controversial figure. Several prominent Democrats, including former President Barack Obama, have interacted or taken pictures with Farrakhan.
Donald Trump Jr. slammed Democrats Monday on Twitter.

Louis Farrakhan, at the Millions More Movement rally in DC, Oct 15, 2005: "...what Mao Tse Tung did was, he went to the cultural community, and they [Farrakhan spreads his arms beneficently] accepted his idea."...
"Mao Tse Tung ... had a billion people whose lives he had to transform."..."the idea of Mao Tse Tung became the idea of a billion people, and China became a world power on the base of the culture and the arts community.
If we had a ministry of art and culture in every city we'd create this movement [in the U.S.]."

If you think that the Marxists and muslim gang holds power in Congress now, wait until after the 2020 elections unless the Republicans deal with the vote harvesting and other voter fraud schemes before 2020. And the chances that they will are two, slim and none.
To answer your question, a prudent person would not trust Congress.
