First thing I do when I see a headline like this is to check to see if it was outside the US. It always is, seeing as we have a first amendment. Our founders had no idea just how important that thing was going to become in an age of insanity.

My husband worked the military exercises in Hawaii this month. I went with him to support him 🌴🌈🌞. We stayed the the Hale Koa which is military DOD. We saw several men in tight Hawaiian dresses there as well as in Waikiki. We thought maybe it was a bet they lost but....

We had a guy at work go transgender. HR approved. He made a very ugly woman and it was very hard to keep from laughing every time I saw him/her.
My brother and I were walking out of a Walmart last summer, and there was a man (very obvious) in women’s clothing walking in. We both stare at him and busted out laughing. He got PO’d and asked us, “what the F are you staring at?” I responded; “Well, I dunno...I’m not exactly sure what is is, but whatever it is, it ain’t much.” And that’s when he swung his purse at me but missed. We hastily left before LE showed up.
If the construction worker refused to pay the fine or even resisted his initial arrest they could have, by his degree of resistance, killed him for laughing.
Beware the antilynching bill. Lynching is already illegal. I understand the bill has language referring to even just ‘feelings’ of special groups. Mandatory jail time, etc. No real bodily harm required.
However, this rarely, if ever happens, as the man usually looks totally ridiculous and out of his element trying to pass himself off as a woman. Hence the laughter and mockery.
The only man I'm aware of that was actually able to pass himself off as a woman was Bruce Jenner, when he did that Vanity Faire magazine cover. But...that photo shoot took a literal army of make-up artists and wardrobe consultants that probably cost a small fortune.
I think on a regular day, Bruce (a.k.a. Caitlyn) Jenner just looks like another old man in women's clothing.
