Lol may be true. When I arrived in 1960 to work towards masters degree in engineering at Univ of Iowa, I did not go to see many movies, because they were released in Mumbai before Iowa City. Old timers will remember a hit movie called Peyton Place. I had already seen it in Mumbai before it was shown in Iowa City. Point is, my fluency in English made it much easier to excel in American college and later on in American Industry,
Democratic candidate Andrew Yang is one of the few people out there talking about the coming storm of AI, such as automated vehicles. I excpect his pov will be taken from other dem candidates, keep a eye on him or such topics.
If I'm an employer, my only options are to: (1) hire a bunch of useless malcontents who see nothing wrong with disrupting traffic and keeping people from getting to work, or (2) hire nobody.
I'll take (2), please ... and I automate my processes as much as possible, and hire contractors to do the rest of my work.

The safest bet is to assume all laws are being violated and/or ignored i.e. not enforced. Only tax law and traffic laws are actively monitored and retroactive policed.
None can vote in US elections. But all chain migrants can vote because they become US citizens in 5 short years after arriving on green cards. Majority of chain migrants end up on gov’t handouts. H1-B visa workers have jobs and no tax payer paid handouts through gov’t.

Corporation drag in cheap foreign labor because it drives down wages and they get Tax credits and they can remove them at any time .

I'm in a STEM industry, dude. There aren't many unemployed people in my field sitting around waiting for better offers ... and those who ARE sitting around are managerial types who have fallen behind the industry so badly that they're the equivalent of entry-level engineers anyway.
I'm at the point where I'm working through my industry associations to push employers to start recruiting high school kids as paid interns. My approach would be to have the employer help pay the intern's college tuition while the kid works part-time and goes to school part-time.
Maybe we'll see good results from that approach in 5-10 years. It doesn't help get the work done that needs to be done over the next six months.
How is wage suppression maga or America first? This reeks of kushner.
My American employer paid me the highest wage he could afford and stay competitive. Which is why I worked there for 25 years. Smart employers will do that to keep good workers.
