and BEFORE the baby is born it is a human being. Because of the right to life no one has the right to take an innocent human life.
Y’all remember the name Peter Singer, world-renowned and influential bioethicist. For many years he has promoted these concepts and made them more acceptable. According to him, children do not become human beings until age 3 years, as defined by their level of consciousness. Therefore a child may be exterminated for any reason without any moral qualms until the child is 3 years old.
Authors Alberto Giubilini and Francesca Minerva seem to have the moral development of babies and thus do not qualify as “actual persons”. “Merely being human is not in itself a reason for ascribing someone a right to life.” By their reasoning, their lack of moral development makes these two ghouls eligible for “after-birth abortion”.
I agree with only one assertion of the author regarding infanticide: the moral status of the individual killed is comparable with that of the fetus. What is monstrous is the idea that the fetus or the newborn represent only potential life that can be disposed of for any number of expeditious excuses.
“If a potential person, like a fetus and a newborn, does not become an actual person, like you and us, then there is neither an actual nor a future person who can be harmed, which means that there is no harm at all. So, if you ask one of us if we would have been harmed, had our parents decided to kill us when we were fetuses or newborns, our answer is no, because they would have harmed someone who does not exist (the us whom you are asking the question), which means no one. And if no one is harmed, then no harm occurred.”
That is some crazy moral jiu jitsu there. Insanity. I guess you have to work around the Hippocratic Oath somehow.
“we do not think that in fact more than a few days would be necessary for doctors to detect any abnormality in the child”
May take a week if they’re busy.
May take a week if theyre busy.
My son was born with a suspected abnormality which corrected itself toward the end of his second week.
The Nazis had a propaganda film called “Life Without Life” While the film was destroyed by the Nazis, the script and some outtakes were recovered. The arguments were that the very old, disabled, senile, handicapped and mentally deficient had life without life and according to the propagandists were suffering and if they could would beg to end their tormented lives. Of course the film also talks about the cost of their care. The film was used to condition the Germans into accepting active euthanesia and eventually the mass killing.
I’m glad you held off. Probably got your first hour of sleep after that news.
I can’t stand these soulless docs. They see folks as nothing more than an endless stream of meat popsicles they have to deal with.
Since the liberals brought it up; why should anyone live?
They're democrats, they have no intention of stopping with babies.
I expect the Nazi, look how much these unfortunates cost the rest of us, to start very soon focused on felons serving lengthy prison sentences and the insane walking the streets.
Eliminating them not only frees up resources to help implement the Green New Deal, it reduces the amount of carbon humans exhale into the atmosphere.
Given that the "Life unworthy of life" argument is already made by those who advocate euthanizing the elderly, the democrats are obviously sticking to the playbook the Nazi Party copied from them in the first place.
Christians are next on the list, black Christians first of course, to make up for all the white privilege that kept them down so long.

This road has been traveled before, where it led to a place with Work sets you free at the gate. Arbeit macht Frei.
Francis Schaefers fears getting closer to reality.
Journal of medical ethics....WTF.
IS THIS REAL..?
“...fetuses and newborns do not have the same moral status as human beings...”
Say what?!?
They're real. Real asshats.
‘’The Journal of Medical Ethics’’ is the last place to seek a discussion on “ethics”.
“Why stop with babies?”
Exactly.
I propose that the chronically offended leftists be euthanized as a matter of compassion.
