Sen. Kamala D. Harris, California Democrat and 2020 presidential hopeful, appears to have fibbed during an interview Monday about smoking marijuana in college while listening to music by Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur.
...Neither of the future rap legends had released music by the time Ms. Harris completed graduate school, however.

Rap ‘’music’’ was barely on the radar in the ‘80’s.
She dipped her joints in hot sauce.
This is what she was listening to..
“Eddie and the Cruisers - On The Dark Side”

Aw hell, shes a closet Peter Frampton fan.
Well see, not her fault, her memory is messed up from the pot.
Let’s elect her!
LOL !!!!!!!!!!!
“Why do these dorks have to lie?”
Because the truth would sink them?
“She can never be African American. No African blood in her family.”
But she did have an African American bone in her....Thank you Mayor Willie Brown...
Most likely would.
They lie to make themselves feel good/important. They never got a swat cross the head while they were kids to stop them from feeling that the world revolves around them.
Narcissism is taught/learned from childhood in most cases.
I got a whuppin put on me, as did my siblings, that I was just a cog in the wheel and not “THEE” cog. No better and no worse than anyone else.
“I think she calls smoking, something else with a superior.”
A White Owl (with a pink tip?)
What I can’t fathom is why she wants this out there, true or not. Is she thinking the black stoner vote will put her over the top?
I mean stop and think about it. What possibly could be the goal for making this announcement?
Maybe she was tripping... or most likely - being a democrat - just making it up. She doesn’t have to worry about ‘the press’ fact checking her - they’re on her side.
Exactly, and that shouldn't be lost on any voter.
She was smoking while well into adult life and held a public office that potentially had a major bearing on each citizen in the county.
Harris served as a deputy district attorney in Alameda County, California, starting in 1990 BEFORE either of the two musicians released their album.
Who wants a druggie as Commander in Chief in the Oval Office? Or anywhere else with the power to make decisions about their life?
Being half Jamaican does not cut it in the 'hood.
Well, her mistake can go two ways. It means she’s either lying about the music or lying about the timeframe.
Smoking marijuana beyond your college years means it wasn’t just youthful indiscretion but instead looks like a more serious character problem. Obama redefined the boundary of what a politician (or at least a Democrat) can acceptably admit to as far as drug use. Smoking dope beyond college would put her outside the Obama boundary and would seem to be a dangerous place to be.
On the other hand, if she just got the music wrong and it wasn’t really Snoop or Tupac then she looks like a real fool with her bogus “vivid” memories, and, worse, she looks pandering and inauthentic. This also is a dangerous place for a politician to be, although Democrats do tend to get more of a pass.
Bottom line to me is this wasn’t just some trivial slip but instead has serious implications and should not be allowed to just pass by. Rather than just getting a little snark, she should be required to do some explaining. Because as it stands now, it looks like she’s got a smoking marijuana unacceptably late in life problem or a blatant pandering problem.
Man, that must’ve been some good weed!

“I think that theres a lot of people more concerned about being precisely, factually, and semantically correct than about being morally right.” You sound like one of those people concerned about facts. This is the 21st century. Facts no longer matter.
