Students at Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Md., were caught by staff trading “N-word passes” during their lunch hour on Friday. The papers gave the pass holders “permission” to use the N-word, WJLA reports.
Following the discovery of the passes, principal Brandice Heckert released an impassioned email, stating, “I am deeply disappointed and appalled that any student in our school would [choose] to engage in such a racist, hateful act. This behavior is disgraceful and does not reflect the values expected of Winston Churchill students. Not only is this behavior hurtful to our community, but it also undermines all the great attributes our students have to offer. I made a promise to all students that I would not ignore acts of intolerance and hatred… While I cannot share specific consequences for the students involved, please be assured that they will match the severity of the action and will be in alignment with the Student Code of Conduct.”

OMG, HORRORS!!! HS kids have a sense of humor and know how to blow much deserved smoke up the collective asses of a bunch of PC wusses. I wouldn’t be surprised if a bunch of really smart black kids with a really good sense of humor started it and are rolling on the floor collectively laughing their asses off. GOOD FOR THE KIDS!!!

Who gives the permission?
I had considered something similar modeled after the carbon tax, which grants permission to use fossil fuels offset by paying for carbon credits.
In this case people will pay money that would offset their racial slurs. The money collected will compliment and say nice words that offset the racial slurs.
Somewhere I have my certificate of absolution for racism by Ken Hamblin, the Black Avenger talk show host.

The school is close to the VA state line,the students probably just wanted to be part of Northam’s tolerance program so they could get out of class.
Many kids rebel against authority. So, why wouldn’t the rebel against the PC hysteria? I doubt any of them are truly racist.

Good God, we act like this is the end of the world. National news, over one stinking word. Who really cares? Saying this ONE word means punishment, but real actions, like vandalism, battery, oh, murder....doesn’t warrant much action. Even if they do, they don’t make headlines. Especially if the perp is the wrong demo...

Have we verified this is not a hoax/sick joke?
Have we verified the demo of the alleged perps? If so will we reveal, or just hang back and let us assume they’re white boys?
The lost and found box at this school used to be a gold mine. My daughter shopped there regularly.

Can’t believe this became a news story.Saw this story on a Baltimore news program last night. They showed an image of this “pass”. What makes this even sillier is that the “pass” had “n-word”; the offensive term was not even spelled out.
The news spot showed the responses of two different students who were interviewed outside the school, apparently. Both were boys. One was white and one was black. The white boy said that he was disappointed, and the black boy said that it was childish.
