Students at Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Md., were caught by staff trading “N-word passes” during their lunch hour on Friday. The papers gave the pass holders “permission” to use the N-word, WJLA reports.
Following the discovery of the passes, principal Brandice Heckert released an impassioned email, stating, “I am deeply disappointed and appalled that any student in our school would [choose] to engage in such a racist, hateful act. This behavior is disgraceful and does not reflect the values expected of Winston Churchill students. Not only is this behavior hurtful to our community, but it also undermines all the great attributes our students have to offer. I made a promise to all students that I would not ignore acts of intolerance and hatred… While I cannot share specific consequences for the students involved, please be assured that they will match the severity of the action and will be in alignment with the Student Code of Conduct.”

Stop the PC mindset and “racism” will disappear so fast these “educators” won’t know what happened.

Not that it didn’t happen, but it sounds awful hokey, and we might be surprised that this was a fake pass made to look legit and get the school officials all hyped up.
The comical side of this....it’s probably not against school rules, and they will have to write up a new rule that prohibits all passes, unless the principal himself stamps them official

This is news? As mentioned above, the “n-word” is pretty much in the lyrics of pretty much all hip hop songs, which pretty much appear at the top of iTunes “Hot Tracks.” The “n-word” is ubiquitous. Meh.
Pretty good racket, this restriction of speech. Who gave blacks this power? Who thinks it is fine for whites to be pilloried for uttering a word blacks say hundreds of times an hour. Note that while I have spent my entire life so far living in the South, I hate to tell disgruntled blacks that we really don’t GAS about your “n-word”. Blacks have always used it freely, while whites rarely used it. One reason is we really don’t talk about blacks all that much. We have much better things to do. The self-importance of this is really kind of funny.
Why are we giving name calling such power? Sticks & Stone will break my bones but words will never harm me.
That saying is the key to unlocking the prison of being unmanned by name calling. The only recourse is to draw the power from the words not to cower in fear from them & forbid them.
The name caller is showing their paucity of imagination, vocabulary or of the ability to counter with facts or logical arguments. The proper response is disdain for a person who has betrayed their own ignorance, stupidity and insignificance. Racist, bigot, homophobe, misogynist, all those labels the political class alternately uses & cowers from deserve a measured rebuttal once and then a calling out of the name caller.
You need to be a governor with a “D” after his name to get a pass.
‘Rats are all about passes.
For GlowBull Warming, there are carbon credits.
For healthcare, there were exemptions in 0’bamacare.
For Rap-like music, and now this school, there are ‘N’-word passes
It’s all about X for me, but not for thee.
It’s something out of Kafka that one student can have songs blaring out of his radio with the N word, while a student next to him cannot even speak the word, under any circumstances, but can only refer to it obliquely.
And, as long as there is that division, racial barriers will only be enforced, not erased.
They’ll give passes on the beaches, on the landing Grounds, they’ll give passes in the streets and in fields. They never give up
Wonder how many rap listening teachers got caught holding passes.
