Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: 'Reconquistador!' [taking Southwest U.S.A. back for Mexico]

Last week's most overlooked news was Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez revealing herself as a champion of the "Reconquista" war against Europeans. The Mexican Reconquista movement is an openly admitted effort by Hispanic activists to take "back" California (Southern especially), New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas through immigration and activism. This is one of several driving forces behind allowing illegal immigration.

Ocasio-Cortez (D-Venezuela) dominated news on February 7 appearing at a rally to abolish or defund the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. The same day, Ocasio-Cortez joined other liberal Members of Congress in unveiling her "Green New Deal" (green evidently referring to envy, not the environment).

Almost lost amidst this furor were Ocasio-Cortez's comments that immigration laws should not apply to indigenous people: As reported in the UK's Daily Mail -- with full video shown:

But she vowed Thursday to defund ICE completely and claimed Latinos should be exempt from criminal proceedings and immigration laws because they are descended from Mesoamerican cultures that preceded the United States.

'We are standing on native land,' she claimed, speaking just outside the U.S. Capitol. 'And Latino people are descendants of native people. And we cannot be told, and criminalized, simply because for our identity or our status. Period.” [emphasis added]

But if you bring up La Raza, or begin to imply that someone like AOC isn’t just a left winger, you may as well be Alex Jones.

In other postings I asked if the Mexicans are asserting in their school text books claiming the Gasden purchase fraudulent as well as making other territorial claims. If they are; This is what we must do. Assert out sovereignty

It’s time we consider illegal entry by any person who is a non Mexican citizen illegally entering the United States through the US Mexican border a defacto Mexican citizen with limited Mexican constitutional rights subject to their laws while transiting. As well as any Mexican citizen doing so. Subject to reciprocal citizen treatment a citizen of the United States receives in Mexico through the Mexican constitution on citizenship .

Besides being unable to vote one must also be a citizen to own land and Mexico is very restrictive about granting citizenship. Because of that a US citizen besides not being able to vote,and cannot have title in their name to any land property in Mexico. And until that is changed the US and the affected state should consider making that reciprocal.prohibiting citizens of Mexico or countries with similar restrictions from doing both voting and land ownership..

Well, to your larger point: if AOC were old enough, she would be a serious threat to win the primary. Millennials are already calling her things like "woke Queen" on social media and think she can do no wrong. Conservatives who point out her stupidity are accomplishing the opposite - because they as messengers are distrusted by AOC's millennial audience.

She (or her billionaire backers) have formed a serious cult of personality around her already. AOC is a thousand times more charismatic than the Democrat dinosaurs. At very least, I expect her to eventually replace Chuck Schumer in the Senate.

My hope is that many of those in their 30s and early 40s who were infected will mature by then and become conservatives.

Wasn't it Patton who said: You're not here to die for your country, but to make the enemy die for his? I was thinking along similar lines. In a symmetric conflict they have the advantage. So obviously the conflict should be asymmetric.

If you're kicked out of your house, any of the phosphide fumigants produce an odorless lethal gas (phosphine) that will give an unpleasant surprise to jack booted invaders. MRAPS became useless in Iraq because of EFP's. Anyway I'm sure most everyone here has ideas along these lines.
