Trump Heads to El Paso amid Stalled Wall Negotiations, Texas Lawmakers Propose State Wall Funding

The plan(Texas wall funding) comes as President Trump heads to El Paso, Texas, on Monday evening for a campaign rally in the border town where former Rep. Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke (D-TX) — the failed 2018 Democrat Senate candidate in Texas, who also is considering a potential 2020 presidential bid — is holding a counter-rally.

It also comes as negotiators on Capitol Hill in Washington, just five days before Friday’s deadline, have reportedly reached an impasse in negotiations over funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other government agencies totaling about a quarter of the federal government. Just a few weeks ago, the longest government shutdown in U.S. history — which started at the end of last year and dragged into this year lasting more than a month — ended after Trump agreed to reopen the government for three weeks to allow negotiators in Congress to attempt to reach a deal.

So back in D.C. apparently the re-pansy-cans have grown a set and decided not to compromise with the socialists and give them everything they demand. Yet. Shut 'er down!

Boy, these can’t negotiate, to take a win.

Now they will get zip for DACA, which we will fix in the next Congress.

In the meantime, deportations for decent people will continue

That won’t work unless the wall turns North and goes along the New Mexico border also.

CNN and MSNBC can cover Beto’s competing rally. The ratings will be next to nothing.

1. Shut the phucker down, and place the blame squarely on the Dems for refusing to even consider a barrier/wall;

2. Let Texas build a wall now. The only problem with that is that we are dealing with a national boundary and the feds have taken jurisdiction over large parts of the border for national security reasons.

3. Trump should leak the text of his E.O. for the military to build the wall, and let the Dems know that it’ll be signed by a week from today, and that the military will be ordered to complete the job within 3 months. For any doubting that we can do that, understand that in Gulf War I, the Corps (”core” not “corpse”) of Engineers built a 400-mile-long highway that could take hundreds of tanks driving over it in 30 nights, WITHOUT the Iraqis seeing what was going on. We can definitely do this in 3 months.

Great Idea, State will build the wall!!!!!!!!!!!

This would also be an avenue for private donations. I think we can easily raise several billion just from private donations if the people had confidence that the money would be used for wall building and not for something else. I would be much more likely to kick in $100 to the state of Texas than to the federal government.

The go-fund-me Build the Wall has over 20 mil. I’m hoping that they start building soon. They have permission from some private land owners already.
What a hoot it would be watching the lamestream media trying to make them into traitors.

The Texas border is what, 64% of the total, coast to coast.

So if Texas and PDJT can work a deal that would push the bulk of the problems to NM and AZ, CA is only 137 miles, or 7%.

AZ is flat and open enough to make it tough to get away from the border.

NM is not much better.

Let them enjoy the FULL joy of the cultural enrichment currently offered to Texas.

1. Army buys “portable” steel slat barriers.
2. Troops already deployed at the border install “temporary barrier”.
3. Trump withdraws troops.

Hmmm....this is a great idea....and a win/win for Texas and POTUS.

Build the wall in TEXAS....let the invaders flood in to NM and CA.

Watch crime and welfare moocher numbers go down, in TX and listen to the other states whine.

Texas taxpayers have paid millions in the past five years to keep National Guard on the border to help the Border Patrol try to catch those invading our country. Have ANY of the other 49 freeloaders volunteered to help in any way? No.

Add to that, the billions Texans have paid in trying to educate the bi-illiterate children who enter our schools not knowing anything but how to fight on the playground. The US Supreme Court helped turn this country into a magnet for the ignorant. Been there, and experienced that as a teacher.

We have had enough.

The Texas legislature needs to demand the federal government protect them from invasion, disease, lawlessness. Then Trump can get all kinds of money for the wall.

The Democrat party, particularly in Washington have become domestic enemies determined to get Americans killed in their lust for absolute power. They are enabling and promoting an alien invasion. There must be some way to deal with those who are actively trying to destroy the USA. To quote Game of Thrones, Winter is Coming and if corrective action is not taken now, many will die.
