If the dems demanded abortionists have admitting privileges on the grounds of ensuring more medical safety for women having abortions,
ie if they wanted higher medical standards for women,
you can be damn sure if republicans were arguing for less, or the status quo, like the socialist dems are right now,
the repubs would be demonized as wanting more women to die from abortions and not wanting them to have better access to healthcare and medical facilities.
You know the media would be running the propaganda that way.

People need to take a step back and look at this objectively. 1. We now know how Kav and Gorsuch are looking at abortion rights restrictions. This is big.
2. While Roberts is permitting a review of the La. law before ruling on the merits, it certainly invites other states to start passing incremental rollbacks of Roe and Casey.
3. Roe, itself, is clearly on life support.
They own Roberts.

Trump needs to get at least 2 more SCOTUS nominations in order to get a new conservative majority Supreme Court.
Want to see how he votes when the NY or Illinois new abortion laws come before the Court. These laws allow the killing of viable fetuses who are actually being born. Both statutes violate the “viability” criteria the Court used as its excuse to allow the wholesale killing. If Roberts votes to uphold those laws then he is yet another curse on the Bush legacy.

Can’t say off the top of my head of people who died during abortion procedures, but I have always found it oddly hypocritical of the Dems that they are basically in favor of abortion on demand, calling it a ‘choice’ between a woman and the doctor, while at the same time they support piles of regulations on the treatment a woman needs after an abortion - from pain meds to antibiotics to anti-coagulants to psychological support etc.
The things I abhor the most in people is lack of principle (the ends justify the means), and hypocrisy or unequal application of so-called ‘principles’ depending on the topic. Why is an abortion a choice between a woman, her doctor and God but everything surrounding that choice totally regulated and controlled by numerous government agencies?
I am a man. I resent the idea promulgated by the left that some things are sacrosanct while other things need be highly-related and subject to governmental regulatory whim.
