Ardently anti-Trump View co-host Joy Behar rushed to socialism’s aid during the panel’s discussion about Tuesday night’s State of the Union address, claiming that the right had "distorted" its true meaning. Behar also boasted that Democrats actually do want President Trump to fail as payback for ruining the country.
Co-host Abby Huntsman cited the positive reaction to Trump’s address and argued that Democrats should abandon socialism because it wasn’t a winning strategy to win over independents. That struck a nerve with Joy Behar, who proceeded to “correct” her:
“I have to say the word Socialist is becoming a buzzword like liberal and feminist where the right wing is now taking that word and distorting it. So every time you use it I'm going to interrupt you,” she lectured, as the audience clapped in approval.
“How is what Ocasio-Cortez is saying --” Huntsman started to retort but was drowned out by the other co-hosts.
“Yeah, it is being used, its being weaponized,” Sunny Hostin agreed with Behar, who added, “It's being bastardized, that word. Nobody really understands it!”

Fewer people are using social services.
People who have been unfairly targeted by the criminal justice system because of skin color are now free.
The price of gas at the pumps is Lower than it has been in a long time.
North Korea is talking to us.
This has somehow *ruined* the country?
I fail to see the problem.

We have actually arrived at a fundamental truth about liberals: each has a rose-colored world view of communism that is completely opposite the truth. They live in a moral and fact-based inverted world.

I turned on the TV last night and there was some BBC documentary on Venezuela. The segment I saw focused on their hospitals. I was en route to Netflix so I only watched a few min. It was brutal and hard to watch. They showed some poor young fellow in a filthy hospital bed waiting for some surgery. His family had exhausted all their savings (so much for free care).
Roaches crawling on the floor. Little supplies. They were bringing in water in plastic coke bottle containers (not sure why). I couldn’t watch anymore.
It is heart-wrenching what those people are going through down there because of failed government. The BBC were not sugarcoating it either. The on scene reporter was quite appalled.
And these naive idiots in our Congress want to bring up ... socialism ... and tell us we don’t understand it?
Joy is seriously mentally disturbed. And un-watchable on TV.
We understand it just fine.......................it’s evil....................
Remember--half the world out there is dumber than the average person.
I think we can count Joyless in that number.
