Wow! It sure didn’t take those daffodils long to break out, did it! LOL! I see buds on ours, but no blooms yet as far as I can tell. Maybe in the next few days, if the freeze doesn’t zap ‘em.
Still that warm there? You must really be enjoying that. Take it all in so you can remember when the cold front blows through. Have you checked the JH cams lately? It has snowed so much! It is piled about 2 feet about my kids’ back deck. Beautiful but....ugh! LOL!

I would love to see them just once in my life! I’ve never lived that far north.

A very pleasant good Thursday morning to everyone here at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.
I'm having to do my computer work from the bedroom because the wi-fi is not working. Hoping to get it fixed sometime today.
How's everyone this morning?

The daffodil leaves have been up a couple of weeks or more but I hadn’t checked any of the clumps for buds. I was surprised when I saw a splash of yellow across the back yard yesterday but I shouldn’t have been. That clump is always the first to bloom. There are several varieties of them planted around the place and they bloom at different times.
It’s dropped a couple of degrees now but yes, we’re still fairly warm. It’s been nice having the heat off and windows cracked open the past few days. Sure would be nice if it could stay this way!
I haven’t checked the JH cams in a while. Did I miss the ice skating rink they set up in the park or is it still there?

I think the rink is still in the park with colored lights, but it’s hard to keep the snow from building up on it. Also the elk horn arches have a lot of snow build up, too.
I just wish we didn’t have little buds on the trees already. They will just be frozen off before spring is really here, I fear.

Yes, the rink is still there. I just took a peek. They have the snow cleared off for the time being - - until the next snowfall. It’s snowing on some of the cams right now. BRRRRRRR!
Yeah, trees budding this early isn’t a good thing. I’m worried about the trees here doing the same thing.

You’ve been staying up pretty late lately. I hope you’ve been sleeping late as well! LOL
I’ll probably pop in at some point tomorrow night after I finish for the night at the other house. I REEEEEEEALLY look forward to being done with that!

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Glad you got your Wi-Fi and computer working again.
Did you and Gizmo go to a different place yesterday - - one with no stumps? :-) I hope your weather was better than it was in TN. Nasty, wet, and stormy over here.

Today went pretty well....and tomorrow I get a new computer and monitors. In the morning I need to save my favorites and desktop stuff to a thumb drive before they come. And it comes with Windows 10. I had to reboot 3 times this morning to get my Outlook to come up. I’m the last one to upgrade. Could be an interesting day. d:o)

You don’t say, “Today went pretty well,” very often! Glad it happened for a change.
How it goes tomorrow remains to be seen. I feel for you getting stuck with Windows 10. I wish you luck with it and hope you don’t have as many problems as my vet does since he changed over to it. They have a tech there at least twice a week trying to get things to work and he hasn’t had much luck YET. The gals at the front counter are NOT happy at all.
I guess if the rest of the crew are having few problems, though, you should be ok. Fingers and toes crossed for luck! LOL

We had some reasonable weather yesterday. Gizmo did walk the beach behind the stumps but no mishap like Tuesday.
The storm alarm did go out a couple of times. The storms were fast moving and produced mainly hail.
I think your area is in a level 1 or 2 risk for severe storms today. You'll want to pay attention to the weather.

Glad to hear there weren’t any more mishaps! Tues. didn’t sound like fun at all. I hope you didn’t end up with a black eye.
Y’all were lucky there weren’t any tornados. You usually get a few with these systems.
I think they weren’t expected here yesterday since nothing was mentioned in the early morning weather report. The weather turned out to be much uglier than they’d predicted. We expect the possibility today for severe weather since the cold front will move through. I’m definitely keeping a close eye on the weather.

It's cooler here this morning.
It is supposed to be colder tomorrow.
I guess it's about time.
It ain't spring yet!
Tell that to my tulips!🌷 LOL!
Anyway......y'all have a GREAT day!
And remember our wonderful troops!
