We Nebraskans shall have a momentous task, before the Nebraska Unicameral, tomorrow at the state capital in Lincoln.
Several Legislative Bills will be proposed to the Judiciary Committee, and each of these bills is a travesty against the natural law.
I have contacted the Committee Chair - Senator Steve Lathrop, to state my objections, and have them entered into the public record for each hearing on each of the proposed bills.
I would appreciate that any Nebraskan, who is so inclined, either send their own testimony to Chairman Lathrop, or else appear at the hearings in Lincoln, which are scheduled for tomorrow, FEBRUARY 7, 2019 - from 1 to 5 PM CT - and possibly to 9 PM.
Witnesses will be allowed only 3 minutes for their public testimony.
For those who cannot attend, please acts as prayer warriors, pleading to Almighty God that these several pieces of legislation be prevented from becoming the law in the Great State of Nebraska.
Background:
The liberals have created a perfect storm tomorrow at the Judiciary Committee Hearing with 6 LBs to be heard in a 7 to 8 hour time period, starting at 1:30 p.m.
My goal is to have Nebraskans email your opposition letter to the Judiciary Committee Chair, Steve Lathrop, by 5 p.m. this afternoon to be read into the record.
Steve's e-mail address is slathrop@leg.ne.gov
Here is the tentative order of LBs to be heard tomorrow (acquired at 4 p.m. on Tuesday from Sen. Lathrops staff)
LB627, Superior Rights for SO/GI in the workplace
LB426, Adoption by any Two Adults
LB504, Provide Enhanced Penalties for Crimes against Gender Identity
LB166, Prevent Discovery of Victims actual or perceived Sexual Orientation or Gender Identification
LB167 & LB168, Make it illegal to advertise for talk therapy / conversion therapy (out of LGBT lifestyle) + change the definition of child abuse to include subjecting a child to talk therapy / conversion therapy if the child is LGBT. These will be heard simultaneously (probably start around 7:30 p.m.)
The Judiciary Committee is giving consideration to limiting public testimony to 1.5 hours for each bill (1.5 X 5 bills = 7.5 hours from 1:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.)
3 minutes max per speaker unless questions are asked by the senators to the testifier

My objections to the proposed legislation: LB166, LB167, LB168, LB426, LB504 and LB627
To Senator Steve Lathrop and members of the Judiciary Committee of the Nebraska Unicameral:
Dear Committee Chairman Lathrop, et al,
I request the following testimony be entered into the hearing record:
Ironic it is that those who protest with the most vociferous of objections to mans misappropriation of nature have no reservation in misappropriating the nature of man
It is an ontological truth that man is more than spirit and will. Man has a definite and complementary human nature male and female which exists outside of mans will; a nature whose design is the exclusive dominion of God, by whom man was created. However, we now have the absurd proposition that truth and reality no longer find their center on mans created nature, but rather on his will to choose his own nature. To wit: the pre-ordained duality of male and female is now an abstract concept, where man may choose his own reality.
The biological evidence proves the falsity of this proposition for the masculine and feminine natures are each defined at the moment of conception. Those convinced of their own infallibility may obstinately choose to proclaim otherwise, but the genetic map confirms the reality of two, and only two, sexes: male and female and this truth is the very core of human essence, not some artifice constructed by society.
To quote Pope Benedict XVI: But if there is no pre-ordained duality of man and woman in creation, then neither is the family any longer a reality established by creation. Likewise, the child has lost the place he had occupied hitherto and the dignity pertaining to him. The child has become an object to which people have a right and which they have a right to obtain. When the freedom to be creative becomes the freedom to create oneself, then necessarily the Maker is denied and ultimately man too is stripped of his dignity as a creature of God When God is denied, human dignity also disappears.
Let me concisely reaffirm Pope Benedicts point: the dignity of man is stripped when aberrations such as homosexuality and transgenderism become accepted components of society. If we deny ontological realities, then there can be no immutable moral truth upon which to establish the foundation of our laws. If no foundation exists for our laws, then ordered human society cannot survive.
The mindset driving these proposed bills that advocating what is normal, and working to rehabilitate those suffering same-sex-attraction or gender dysphoria, is a form of bigoted segregation deserving of criminalization and the granting of special rights sets in deep relief that phrase first coined by the former Democrat Senator of NY, the late Daniel Patrick Moynihan: Defining deviancy down. A term describing the process by which only the most morally bizarre behavior is labeled deviant, and what was in the past considered deviant is now accepted as normal.
In January of 1994, the late Charles Krauthammer, in his column for the Colorado Springs Gazette Telegraph, added a disturbing component to Moynihans concept: As part of the vast social project of moral leveling, it is not enough for the deviant to be normalized. The normal must be found deviant. Large areas of ordinary behavior hitherto considered benign have had their threshold radically redefined up, so that once innocent behavior now stands condemned as deviant. Normal middle-class life then stands exposed as the true home of violence and abuse and a whole catalog of aberrant acting and thinking.
Within this paradigm, pro-homosexual activists labor to intimidate and silence any who courageously uphold that which is ontologically truthful, in defiance to the normalization of same-sex attraction and the transgender gospel a narcissistic narrative which our popular culture, in its race to the bottom of moral ambiguity, has invented out of thin air. This revolution against reality disorients our society from its founding Christian principles, and leads to the persecution of those who oppose the ascendancy of sexually deviant behavior.
In his 1995 book Setting the Record Straight, What Research Really says About the Social Consequences of Homosexuality, Lawrence F. Burtoft, PhD., stated the following:
The fact that there is any success in changing from homosexual to heterosexual orientation at least proves that some forms of homosexuality are not immutable, which in turn throws great doubt upon all claims to the contrary. Low rates of success may have more to do with inadequate diagnosis and treatment than with some inherent immutability The fact that change is possible is a fundamentally important issue. There is both hope for individuals who desire change, and irrefutable proof that homosexuality is not an immutable, unchangeable fact rooted in the physical constitution. Public policy enactments must face this fact, and recognize the difference between politically correct rhetoric and empirically verifiable reality. The welfare of both individuals and society as a whole depends upon our facing this reality honestly, compassionately and courageously.
In that context, I shall close my testimony with this admonishment: Public policy cannot be allowed to elevate the subjective rights of the person over the objective moral law. As representatives of the people, our state legislators must not create a system that places human will over human nature a system that places what I want as higher than what God decrees. To do so will engender a body of law having no stable foundation upon which to make objectively reasoned judgments. What you will then end with is a society engulfed by moral and civil chaos and thus ungovernable.
Thank you for your consideration. Respectfully,
XXXXXXX
Who elected such trash to the Nebraska legislature?!? Are the swine and other farm animals of Nebraska now allowed to vote in state elections?
Unfortunately, Omaha and Lincoln are loaded with liberals.
Not news. Why not post it to Nebraska state page?
Did not know there was a special page for Nebraska.
Massachusetts went on to ban Roman Catholic Charities from placing adoptive children once the “anybody can adopt rule” was implemented. To their credit, they refused to “embrace the sodomy”.
Thanks
Someone should bring up the hoaxer lesbian Charlie Rogers of Lincoln as a sterling example of who these laws are intended to empower.
I am one of two who will be praying for Nebraska and your fellow Nebraskans attempting to stand up against the insanity and immorality. I appreciate that you are trying to do so in a respectful, gracious manner which exemplifies Jesus’ and the Apostles witness in a pagan world as well.
From the Memory Hole:
Prosecutors charged Rogers on Aug. 22 with making a false report to police. She told investigators three men broke into her house on July 22, tied her up, carved anti-gay slurs into her skin and tried to light the house on fire.
Media from across the country — including CNN, NBC and Sports Illustrated — covered the story this summer.
Rogers re-asserted her story in a 15-minute video she posted on YouTube in mid-November.
The investigation culminated with me in a room with law enforcement and them saying, Charlie you did it. Say you did. You did it. And me saying, No. No I didnt. I won’t say I did it then. I wont say I did it now. I did not do this. I am innocent.
Deputy Lancaster County Attorney Pat Condon on Monday laid out his case against Rogers.
Police found no blood on Rogers neatly made bed even though she said her attackers bound, cut and pinned her down as she tried to fight them off, Condon said.
A forensic pathologist said she believes Rogers made the cuts herself or that they were done with her permission, according to Rogers arrest warrant. The cuts were superficial and symmetrical, avoided sensitive areas of the body and wouldve taken considerable time to inflict, pathologist Michelle Elieff said.
Investigators discovered that the items used in the attack white knit gloves, zip ties and a utility knife were purchased July 17 at a hardware store on 27th Street. During one of four interviews Rogers had with investigators, she said she shops at that store.
Rogers told police she owned zip ties and a utility knife like the ones her attackers used, Condon told Judge Pokorny. Rogers said the gloves were not hers, but investigators found her DNA inside them.
In her video, Rogers accused the Lincoln Police Department of botching the investigation by trying to shred her story while her three attackers ran free. Despite being railroaded, she said, she vowed to fight back.
Did you miss yesterday's news on looney tunes NEB State Senator Ernie Chambers (D-11th, Omaha) calling the US flag a rag, and comparing it to the swastika?
Yes, I heard that. Makes you wonder what communistic freaks his constituents are.
Probably not even Joe McCarthy foresaw the day that subversives would overrun “conservative” NE. Cornhuskers, beware!
