The Democratic Party seems to be willing to protect not just late term abortions, but actual killing of babies that survive the attempt on their lives. Governor Ralph Northam’s cold-blooded explanation of allowing parents and doctors to discuss whether or not to finish off the victim, as part of the bill sponsored by Democrat Kathy Tran, shocked most people who heard about it – those who don’t rely on the mainstream media.
Yesterday, Republican Senator Ben Sasse introduced a bill, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (S. 130), that would require the provision of medical services to babies born alive after attempted killing of them in utero, and sought “unanimous consent” -- a Senate procedure to substitute for a vote on measures regarded as non-controversial, but the Democrats found a hatchet woman to prevent that, while sparing her colleagues from individually voting in favor of infanticide. Kimberly Leonard reports in the Washington Examiner:
Senate Democrats on Monday blocked an effort to pass legislation clarifying that babies who survive attempted abortions must receive medical care.
Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., rejected the motion to pass the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, authored by Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., and co-sponsored by other Republicans. Sasse had sought to pass the bill via unanimous consent, meaning that one senator could stop it by objecting.
"You’re either for babies or you’re defending infanticide," Sasse said before the vote. "That's literally what this bill is about."
Murray said in objecting to the call for unanimous consent the U.S. already had laws against infanticide, and accused Sasse of misrepresenting the purpose of his legislation.

The bill didn't pass.
Murray gets a pass.
I have to say I was surprised when homosexual marriage became the law of the land. I really didn’t think we’d ever see that.
But infanticide? The Democrats are literally pushing for infanticide? Unbelievable.
Death panels for old folks? Oh, that’s definitely on the agenda.
The comic book villain Thanos could learn a thing or two from these animals.
Maybe in the long run it will help a Republican challenger to POS Murray.
But, the wall is immoral?
The same dirtbags who scream bloody murder when an ILLEGAL child is separated from its ILLEGAL parent at the border.
The unanimous consent option was a gutless sellout by the GOP. They knew damn well there would be at least 1 rat who would object. Once again having it both ways.
How long before the Dems will want to outlaw babies actually being born in this country? The upside, for them, is that it will require open borders to populate the country.
Look on the bright side, maybe the left will just go extinct since they aren’t/can’t reproduce and abort their babies anyway. All they can do is indoctrinate and try to hold on to society.
This is one instance deserving of the phrase “the debate is over.”
There comes a time when all liberties are forfeited.
Babies today. Old people tomorrow.
My guess s that the dems are resisting this because of the money they get from PP which can see dollar signs they will get from dissecting th0se live babies and selling their organs. I also have no doubts that this will encourage many of those amoral liberal women to get pregnant and carry the child to full term and then split the “lottery winnings” with PP.
