Virginia Governor Ralph Northam (D-VA) finds himself in very hot water after The Virginian-Pilot published a page Friday from Northam’s medical school yearbook which “shows two men, one in blackface and one in a Ku Klux Klan robe and hood, on the same page as the governor.”
The Virginian-Pilot reported:
“On the half-page set aside for Northam, there is a headshot of him in a jacket and tie, a photo of him in a cowboy hat and boots and a third of him sitting casually on the ground, leaning against a convertible”
“The fourth photo on the half-page has two people, one wearing white Ku Klux Klan robes and a hood, the other with his face painted black. The person with the black face is also wearing a white hat, black jacket, white shirt with a bow tie and plaid pants. Both are holding canned drinks.”
“It’s unclear who the people in costume are.”
In 2017, while speaking at what appears to be a church following the Charlottesville riots, then-gubernatorial candidate Northam declared that white supremacists “are not welcome in” Virginia.
“Terry McAuliffe, Mark Herring, and I were there in Charlottesville to tell these people that they’re not welcome, that we’re not going to condone that kind of behavior, to go home and don’t ever come back to the Commonwealth of Virginia,” Northam said.

The main point is——killing babies is wrong. The evil abortion plans he promotes are wrong.

He really is a great Democrat in the grand Southern tradition.

He is a Democrat. Doing evil is a resume enhancer for the Democrat base. The more heinous a Democrat’s actions, the more the Democrat base will dig in and defend them.
We will never when this war hoping for the Democratic base to think rationally. The only thing we can do is defeat. If we want to defeat them and then expect them to understand why, we are very foolish. Just win that’s all that matters.
