Friday on Yahoo’s “Skullduggery” podcast, conservative author Ann Coulter said President Donald Trump won for one reason: People want the federal government to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Coulter said, “We put this lunatic in the White House for one reason, we wanted a wall.”
She added, “There is no on-again, off-again relationship with Trump. I will defend him on the things he deserves defending on and I will attack him when he doesn’t keep his promises.”

Wrong. Tom didn’t insult anyone.
Ann could be critical without the hate. She could condemn without the vitriol. Without the bitchiness.
I like many things Trump has done. The taxes he got because the Koch Bros wanted lower taxes too. But the Koch Bros currently want cheap labor (and some second class people in the job market.) Trump has always had the Dems and the Establishment GOP against him on most issues.
I wanted to have a discussion on immigration and I wanted to understand why Trump is all alone up there. To me, the wall is as primary as anything Trump ran on. Especially since it will out last his term. (long range fix)
The other things are needed too, Jobs (yes) Judges (yes) Rule of law (yes) pride in America (yes). and definitely not Hillary ( from whom we would get none of the above).
As far as I am concerned, Trump has kept his promise to raise up the middle class working population. All these points are in the direction of a stronger middle part of America.
But I understand that support for the President can be multifaceted.

It’s funny to watch people put those old American tactics in play. We all understand it - throw me in that briar patch! - but the latest generation is clueless and uncomprehending.
Trump is the master of those things too. He understands when people are doing it to him, which is mostly why he doesn’t let it get to him. He gets the game. But at least it keeps it up in the queue of things he needs to focus on.

Then when she came out early for Trump I warmed back up to her.
SHe’s stupid. She has no clue what it’s like to be president of this country. Obviously we can withstand 4 years, maybe even 8 and still survive, but we finally have someone who is making changes, while fighting all sides.
We shouldn’t be dealing with this wall. Ryan should have put it in the Omnibus bill, plain and simple....

No we didn’t. There were many other reasons, one very important one. Stop Hillary! I guess she would have preferred far left judges packing the courts, Marxist economic policies, and so on. Why are we still paying her any attention?
