Burn: Dana Loesch Just Wrecked Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's Idiotic Tweet About Former Starbucks CEO

Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz might be running for president. If he does, it’ll be as an independent centrist. Needless to say, this will split the anti-Trump vote and very well could give Trump a second term. That’s why the political Left is hurling hate and vitriol at Schultz, who has also trashed Medicare for All, and other policies pushed by Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Kamala Harris (D-CA), for being un-American. Harris recently said on a CNN town hall that she would gut private health insurance. Schultz thinks Tomahawk Liz’s agenda is nothing but full-blown socialism. The former coffee company executive also said that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’s (D-NY) campaign to soak the rich at the tippy tops on the income bracket is what pushed him to think about a presidential run as an independent (via CNBC):

Billionaire former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz is no fan of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s proposal to slap a 70 percent marginal tax rate on income above $10 million.

In an interview Monday night, he cited her idea as one of the reasons he could never run for president as a Democrat. Schultz believes the party has moved too far left, and he doesn’t believe in their tax and spending priorities.

“I respect the Democratic Party. I no longer feel affiliated because I don’t know their views represent the majority of Americans. I don’t think we want a 70 percent income tax in America,” Schultz told CNBC’s Andrew Ross Sorkin in New York.

And like clockwork, Ocasio-Corte responded saying, ‘Why don’t people ever tell billionaires who want to run for President that they need to “work their way up’ or that ‘maybe they should start with city council first’?’” on Twitter.

Uh, yeah, does she not know that Schultz is a self-made man who grew up in the projects?

So, why not run as a Democrat if he’s going to run? He’s been a Democrat his entire life. Well, the three pillars of the far left that will form the core of the 2020 Democratic Party agenda is just too whacko for him to stomach. We cannot afford free college, Medicare for All, and universal employment. So, you can see where the hate among the progressive Left rests with this man. He’s actually making good points, whilst setting the Left’s agenda on fire. At the same time, the National Rifle Association’s Dana Loesch took Ocasio-Cortez to the woodshed over her idiotic tweet about Schultz.

“Schultz grew up in the projects, was the first of his family to go to college, and turned a tiny coffee shop into a multi-billion dollar company. How much more should he ‘work his way up?’” Loesch tweeted.

Love him or hate him, Schultz is an American dream success story (via RCP):

MSNBC: Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz is considering an Independent 2020 presidential bid, and he tells 'Morning Joe' why he doesn't believe what the Democratic Party stands for, why he sees himself as a legitimate Independent choice and what he really thinks about Elizabeth Warren.

Schultz responded to critics of his personal fortune and being a billionaire in America.

"I've also been criticized for being a billionaire," Schultz said Wednesday. "Let's talk about that. I'm self-made. I grew up in the project in Brooklyn, New York. I thought that was the American dream, the aspiration of America. You're going to criticize me for -- for being successful when in my company over the last 30 years, the only company in America that gave comprehensive health insurance, equity in the form of stock options, and free college tuition? And Elizabeth Warren wants to criticize me for being successful?"

Schultz is on a book tour, so we’ll know more about his presidential ambitions in due time. In the meantime, here’s another example of Ocasio-Cortez getting wrecked. Happy Thursday.

Does not matter. The frothing-at-the-mouth Millenial lemmings are sticking with AOC.

Commie Cortez hates billionaires, called them 'immoral' a few weeks ago, claims everyone should make the same salary. Joesef would be proud.

Well, I certainly don’t hate the man. To be more specific, I don’t hate him because he’s rich.

According to AOC’s philosophy, Shults’ achievements are impossible, pure luck, or corrupt.

The reason someone like AOC would make this comment about why doesn’t someone tell billionaires to work their way up is because to them the only experience to be a politician that is translatable is other political experience. Real life does not count.

Exactly. He who defines the "Center" wins.

Sometimes I wonder, have Millennials ever taken the time to take a close look at communism? Study the basic history of it, learn the kind of hell people went through and are going through living under it? Have they ever taken the time to talk to people who lived in the USSR? Ever talked to people who lived in Cuba? I really think they have no idea, that they think it’s some kind of utopia. After the Otto Warmbier torture and murder I thought THAT might have alerted them, but nope, they are still 100% in for communists, every freakin’ commie the democraps promote for office they treat as some kind of hero when in fact they’re worse than Nazis. Communists killed 4 times as many people and counting. I guess it’s too instilled in the Millennials , from the time they were toddlers to adulthood they were indoctrinated much like what the Palestinians do to their kids with regards to Jews and Israel, you’ll never ever change them, they are too far gone, too mentally poisoned.

The bartender is going to continue in this way until she is no longer useful to the Democrat/Left leadership. Until the abortion issue reared up yesterday (no doubt to prepare the Left's completely whacked-out base for another Trump-appointed nominee for the USSC) the bartender, being so far to the Left, has been somewhat effective in making the rest of the Democrat/Left appear marginally rational.

There is no reason to be concerned with anything -- anything -- the bartender says or does because when she is no longer effective (and that day is rapidly approaching) the Democrat/Left leadership will crush her nearly out of existence as is their SOP. The bartender is truly the Democrat/Left's burden to bear so it's better to just ignore her inconsequential rantings.

‘Why don’t people ever tell freshmen congressmen that they need to “work their way up’ or that ‘maybe they should start with city council first’?’"

Your only experience before this was being a slutty bartender, Occasional Cognition.

Partner, President Trump will be reelected in 2020 the way the DemonRat party has now really made a turn to the left.

Ocasio Cortez is a big time loser and she is another socialist/communist like the America Hating Piece of Work Obama. It will take a lot of years to even forget about the American Hating Obama.

President Trump just needs to start on the Southern Border Wall and he will get reelected. The MSM just does not like President Trump, period.

He is stopping all the Riff Raff from Mexico and Central America from coming into the U.S.

If an independent “centrist” is taking votes, who says more of them will come from democrats?

I mean, it seems logical to me considering the semi-well published movement to the fringe left that the democrat party is doing, but that may not hold up when you have a democrat nominee saying all right moderate things after they get the nomination and they’re head to head with Trump. What will happen if the democrat presidential candidate successfully pimps the centrist message and the so-called independent candidate ends up pushing a false populist message.

Keep a watch for sharks in the water.

Nazi’s 20,000,000 x 4 = 100,000,000 which is about 60,000,000 short of the communists’ ‘achievement’ as of 1995.

Centrist relative to the current Democrats. Anyone to the right of Stalin is a centrist in that party.

Your political party is bankrupt when its “rising star” is Alexandria Ocasio-Chavez.

He’s a liberal Democrat in sheep’s clothing, but at least he’s not rushing toward the Fringe Left. He can at least acknowledge that Medicare-for-All, “free” college, and other liberal proposals are not affordable.
