The latest “extreme weather” terminology will probably not be helpful to the proponents of “global warming”. Even the jiggered records indicate that “extreme” events have been on the decline.

All while China and India are rampant polluters and nothing is done to stop them. China is the number one importer of meat, more so than all other countries combined. Our consumption is a fraction of Chinas. Yet we're blamed for CO2 output from raising cows for our consumption? Remove the USA, and the pollution remains - because it is caused by China! I am trying to figure this out. In Minneapolis, I was living there in 94-96. In the 95/96 winter, we saw 19 days in a row where the temp didn’t get above 0. That was after many days, including some where randomly we would get all the way down to -52, in a stretch where we didn’t get above freezing for over 90 days. Granted, I left, so I don’t know how long that snap lasted, but we’ve been here before. They just forgot about it.
