He has Ro11s-Royce hea1thcare as a senator, as in pays nothing
Hows that? Never heard of such a thing, at least here in California, in 28 years before the bar. There are exemption statutes, such as the one that prevented them from attaching OJ Simpsons retirement accounts to satisfy the wrongful death judgment. Subject to any homestead exemption, Paul should be able to levy on the house
See my #42. Not bankruptcy; the retirement accounts were exempt from levy.
Willful injury judgment is not dischargeable. Bankruptcy Code Sec. 523(a)(6)
The other Doctor is appealing. I hope he ends up owing more if possible.
What about his assets home, cars, jewelery ect.???
Should have read your post before I commented again!!!
The Canadian private Shouldice Hospital specializes in ‘non-mesh hernia repair’. USA Health Care apparently prefers the cheaper mesh procedure. Around the World, patients prefer this particular Canadian hospital, but you must pay cash.
With the caveat that this is based on CA law: I think its about 10k in equity in one vehicle. Jewelry generally up for grab. 2 cars,
Boats, etc can be attached.. I literally got the watch off a guys wrist at a debtors examination. Homestead exemption and assets held in retirement accounts are the biggest exemptions. Also accounts that essentially only contain social securitybenefits. If you transfer assets in advance to avoid a potential judgment, you can go after those guys, too.
A 580K judgement don’t mean sic-em if he can’t collect it.
No one said that. Are you an idiot?
You don’t need to insult me just because you lost the argument.
One set of rules for us, another for them.
Which means, of course, that there arent any rules at all.

subrogated claim
That was probably the deductable on his insurance. In effect out of pocket expenses.
You cannot read. One of the docs is his friend, and where he works specializes in doing hernia repairs.
The reasons are completely valid.
You remain an idiot. It would be insulting if you werent one, but since you are, its just stating a fact.
I dont understand the $7834 in medical costs.
Thats most likely his co-pay and the rest was covered by insurance. The next shoe to drop is the insurance company suing to recover their loss.
