Its ridiculous that the guy only got 30 days for a violent unprovoked attack that caused serious injury to another person. Rand Paul was literally doing nothing but yardwork on his own property never having so much as exchanged words with the dude when he was attacked while his back was turned without warning.
30 days? The guy should’ve spent at least a year in the slammer.
I can’t think of a politician I would rather have as a next door neighbor than Rand Paul.
Next thing ya know they’ll shot up at one of our baseball games and pull off a MASS SHOOTING...!
Oh, wait...
outstanding. 7 thousnd in medical costs. 500 million in damages.
Remember when they de-railed a train full of GOP guys trying for a weekend getaway..?
The guy belongs in jail in addition to the monies.
One set of rules for us, another for them.
If he was a Trumper who attacked a Rat senator, he would have gotten at least 10 years, maybe more.
As far as I’m concerned what that @$$hole did to Senator Paul was attempted murder.
What goes around...comes around. The concept of them freely attacking our side will end one day.
Good for him! Maybe he can donate half of that towards the Wall.
The bastard will file bankruptcy Rand Paul wont see a dime!!!
That guy should have went to prison too as far as I’m concerned. Not because he’s a Senator, just because he attacked someone by surprise and nearly killed him. What a douche.
The court awarding damages is one thing. Collecting the money is another.
He won. No one will remember the score.
Yes. But a bigger judgment may have been overturned or held up in definitely. I hope that neighbor loses his home as a result of his violent actions.
