Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) has infuriated colleagues by aligning with a progressive outside group that’s threatening to primary entrenched Democrats. Now some of those lawmakers are turning the tables on her and are discussing recruiting a primary challenger to run against the social media sensation.
At least one House Democrat has been privately urging members of the New York delegation to recruit a local politician from the Bronx or Queens to challenge Ocasio-Cortez.
“What I have recommended to the New York delegation is that you find her a primary opponent and make her a one-term congressperson,”

Is Ocasio-Cortez too big for her britches? Is she making enemies of powerful people in her own party, people who theoretically would be political allies of hers? It sure sounds like it.
If they primary her and she wins she’ll have even more perceived power!

They’re all mad at her because she openly promotes what they all believe in. There’s no difference between AOC and any other RAT in Congress on policy issues. They choose to keep continuing the masquerade of being “centrists”. The only thing keeping the RATs unified is their hatred for Trump. Otherwise, they’ll be at each other’s throats. That will happen eventually.
She could ask Russian trolls for help.

She impresses me as a cartoon caricature of someone we would create to show the extremes of liberalism or maybe a Hollywood comedy sans a boyfriend trying to tame her, a I Love Lucy character. But definitely a loose cannon creating anti-liberal backlash.
The only reason she's a sensation is because of her stupidity. It's a bad reflection on herself, a very bad reflection on Boston University, and a horrible indictment of the voters who put her in office.
I think Jerry Mahoney could show a superior intellect next to her.
