California Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris, speaking during a town hall Monday night, vowed to eliminate all private health care insurance for approximately 150 million Americans if she is elected president.
Asked by CNN host Jake Tapper if people who like their current health care insurance could keep it under Harris' "Medicare for All" plan, Harris indicated they could not -- but that, in turn, they would experience health care without any delays.
Her statements appeared to be a full-throated call for single-payer health insurance, as opposed to merely expanding Medicare, and a dramatic embrace of the kind of proposals advocated by Vermont Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders.

For example, when she was asked by Jake Tapper about people who like their private insurance and want to keep it, she said (I paraphrase), "think about the times (with private insurance) when you had ask the doctor if a procedure was covered by your insurance. Is that the kind of healthcare insurance we want?"
"The answer is 'no'...let's move on."
With the "let's move on" comment, she let Tapper know that the discussion of this topic had ended.
Like her or not, you have to admit that's a pretty effective way of changing the subject.
Another quota hire. What could possibly go wrong?
Some people here on FR find her attractive i find her absolutely repulsive.
Even if she was a nobody i wouldn’t even give her a second glance.
Come to America on a student visa, and you too can make a future President in less than five years!

Unless we stop government interference!!!
I'm on Medicare. I'm paying $1626 a year for Part B......and all kinds of additional charges for any treatment.
Same with Occasional-Cortex.
Same with Pelousi. What is it with Leftist women?
It’s a reductive way to end a conversation, any thinking person should see it for what it is.
What happens in this type of environment...is that Medicare management would say x-amount is the limit for a procedure and hospitals/clinics would be under a declining profit scale (rather quickly).
So let’s use my home-town area of north Alabama. Right now, within a 20-mile radius, I have four full-up full-procedure hospitals in existence, and at least six clinics of various possibilities, and maybe 20 private doctors. Once you say there’s a limit on procedure-cost, where is the incentive? The hospitals will shift to a lesser menu item list of things they do.
From the four hospitals, I’d expect the emergency rooms of two of them to shut down. Getting appointments? You’d be on a waiting list for at least three weeks in most cases.
I agree, it would be cheaper...but you’d reach a point in five years to admit that you’ve got second-rate care.
...these are the words of the giant “health systems” that have been created across the country.
They are determined to squash any options for care outside what they deem “appropriate”
she is a tool
And yet they call US fascists
I listened to her speech it was worse deception than Obama. Drugs are bad but “we don’t need another war on drugs”. Open the border. We need “unity” but that doesn’t mean what others call unity. She described freedom as “collective purpose”. She’s the typical lying dangerous leftist hack you get from one party California. She’s Willie Brown’s 1000th slut and proud of it.
How many of those watch Jake Tapper? Or CNN? Or MSNBC?
Thank you for the intelligent analysis. Kamala doesn’t know, doesn’t care, and doesn’t want you as part of her America.
I have a better idea, lets get rid of socialism and anyone who advocates it.
Socialism by force because nobody would choose it voluntarily.
The campaign signs I will be putting up will be along these lines:
Kamala Harris - Whore?
If the people of America don’t repent to the Lord God Almighty, we cannot expect anything good for our country.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
That’s the absolute bottom line.
I have bad feelings about our future if we dont fight.
I have bad feelings about our future. /fixed
