FULL TITLE: Fox News Hosts Create CNN, Mueller Conspiracy Theory Surrounding Roger Stone Arrest, Demand Investigation
Fox News hosts past and present are touting a meta cable news conspiracy theory claiming special counsel Robert Mueller tipped off CNN prior to Roger Stone's Friday arrest.
Sean Hannity and Jeanine Pirro are touting a baseless accusation first concocted on Twitter by former Fox News host Greta Van Susteren that their rival cable news network CNN was "obviously tipped off" by Mueller's office in cahoots with the FBI. Van Susteren later apologized and recanted the claim, but right-wing news media immediately pounced on the chance to rip the alleged "fake news" collusion. President Donald Trump also jumped on the allegation despite CNN producer David Shortell saying they'd placed reporter crews in front of Stone's Fort Lauderdale, Florida, home after committing an act of journalism and following up on particularly busy grand jury activity.
Hannity lamented what he saw as a dramatic show of force by federal authorities at Stone's house Friday morning because the longtime Trump confidant is only accused of "process crimes," rather than violent crimes. But he was particularly angry that CNN journalists were on the scene to report the arrest.
"CNN cameras were at the raid of Roger Stone..so FBI obviously tipped off CNN...even if you don’t like Stone, it is curious why Mueller’s office tipped off CNN instead of trying to quietly arrest Stone; quiet arrests are more likely to be safe to the FBI and the person arrested," former longtime Fox News host Van Susteren floated on Twitter Friday morning, soon after Stone's arrest on charges of obstruction, witness tampering and providing false statements.

the dossier was bought and paid for by HRC/DNC/Perkins Coie/FusionGPS/Steele etc and used to gain FISA warrants against the Trump campaign.
arrest every official who knew the facts, yet signed off on the FISA applications.
if CNN had not been tipped off, the FBI would have asked them to leave the scene due to security reasons (clearly it was a serious raid requiring so many armed agents - lol).
yet Stone was released on a $250,000 bond!

CNN is so lame. Something might have happened in D.C. so let’s run off to Florida and be outside Stone’s door just as the FBI swat team shows up. And I have a bridge that you can buy cheap.
This is not “a baseless accusation.” Two high level law enforcement officials have informed me that CNN was alerted. Of course they wish to remain anonymous.

I don’t believe in coincidence.
CNN claims to have people at the Grand Jury, and a team of investigators, and deduced that Stone was the target. The Grand Jury usually meets Fridays, and for some reason they met that Thursday so CNN claims they knew something was up.
FWIW, even Roger Stone said he expected to be indicted. So at least the CNN story ‘adds up’. But other aspects contradict - why did they need so many heavily armed agents, and if they thought they needed that much firepower to shoot at a 66 year old man and his deaf wife, why did they let the CNN reporter get so close?
The Left’s enemies are being rounded up like Hitler’s Sturmabteilung were used to eliminate the “enemies of the state.”
It is not about left/right or Dem/Rep. It is about enemies of USConstitution and USA verses those defending it. It is about conquest of our nation and our very lives by an evil empire.
No, still doesn’t add up. Just because they knew something might happen, unless someone leaked, they would have had no idea it would take place at the time and place that it did. Also, that type of information is not the subject of Grand Jury deliberations or testimony. Finally, how did CNN know it was going to be a raid and not an agreed to time and place for Stone to turn himself in. No, it was a leak done to make maximum publicity to tarnish Trump by innuendo.
You’re right, Newsweak. The entire production crew just happened to be walking their dogs with full equipment that morning.
