Sunday on NBCs Meet the Press, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said President Donald Trump declaring a national emergency to build a wall on the U.S. Mexico border would be a terrible idea and that he would fight it.
RUBIO: Sure. Because I think its important. Look I dont think we will have to fight. Im not sure they will do that. I know its an option they looked at. But now you are at the mercy of a district court and ultimately an appellate court. It may not withstand if you look at some of the other rulings we have seen. The other is the precedent it would set. Its not a good precedent to set. It doesnt mean I dont want border security. I do. I think thats the wrong way to achieve it. It doesnt provide certainty. You could wind up in a theatric victory at the front and not get it done. The best way to do it is to have a law that funds border security so we know its going to happen.

Good old Rubio - “We need it and I support it but I’ll fight tooth and nail to stop any method that might produce it....
Come on, face it, you just were not keeping up with the pace of the conversation re Trump's predicament. The moment you formed in your mind the question, "what votes", you should have realized the answer.
(Clue: "What votes present an immediate danger to Trump's presidency even prior to the next election cycle?")
Have a nice day.
They want to be the first President of North Mexico (aka USA)
That particular Bush was born a Mexican national and is ineligible to be President.
He is likely the real reason the GOP went along with the Kenyanesian Usurpation.
You’re a robot.
Disengage.
Wrong. You failed to answer my question, and changed the subject. You either lost track somewhere, or dodged.
Rubio the back stabber! He is stabbing America in back with his actions. Good thing he lost the primary.
You are either confusing me with another poster or you are simply barking at the moon. You quoted my answer to your question in your response!

You can have the last word pal, but we are done.
Here's our initial exchange:
...it is a very close call whether he has the votes to defy any federal court that decides to disagree.
"What votes? This isn't up for a vote.
If the President can't stand before the people and assert his plain authority under statute law and the Constitution, the republic is no more."
We apparently went off the rails because I was still discussing the President's powers under the law and the Constitution, and you skipped ahead to the subject of possible impeachment without making it clear that you'd shifted gears.
Simple miscommunication.
For what it's worth, I agree with most of what you posted in our exchange. As to my reading comprehension, I assure you, it's above average.
