The Drudge Report blasted out its breaking news siren on Friday, reporting that an agreement has been reached to end the government shutdown.
Matt Drudge‘s high-trafficked news aggregator reported that according to a source, a shutdown agreement has been reached, and that an announcement is set for 1 p.m.
“SOURCE: SHUTDOWN AGREEMENT REACHED,” the Drudge headline blared. “ANNOUNCEMENT SET FOR 1 PM.”
“GOVT TO REOPEN ‘TEMPORARILY’,” it added.
The nearly six-week government shutdown appeared set to continue after two measures to reopen the government — one that would fund President Donald Trump’s border wall, and one did not — failed in the Senate on Friday.
CBS News reported shortly after that Trump is “expected to announce Friday he’ll back a move to reopen the government for a few weeks” at the White House.
CBS News chief Washington correspondent Major Garrett reported that Trump is expected to support a continuing resolution that would reopen the government “for a few weeks,” while the debate over a border wall continues.

Because, generally speaking, the deep state is winning. I think Mr. Trump has had the success that he has had, limited though it is, is because there are some strong elements within the deep state who do not wish to see America go into too steep of a decline. But we have seen over and over and over again, some left wing judge of some obscure low court overturn one EO after another, and Mr. Trump has been forced to go along with that. Now we see the S/C refuse to overturn the patently illegal DACA, which was not even an EO, but just an unsigned Obama memo. What are we supposed to think?
Much like concessions made to the Left on immigration over the last 60 years were made with the promises of the Left to work together to properly control immigration.
And next time do NOT sign a bill ahead of time guaranteeing backpay and no RIFs.

“full Obama” means the president is an authoritarian. House, Senate, Courts, parties, even the Constitution don’t matter. Looks like Trump won’t do that after the speech. In other times I’d say that’s good. But our other option now is the swamp. And it looks like the swamp won.

Rush Limbaugh commented that he feels the Senators comment about them taking out loans was a catalyst for this. Was not a productive comment.
I relied on Trump to bring Comey, Strozk, Page, Brennan, Lynch, Clinton, and all the other co-conspirators and traitors to justice.

Other than President Trump there are few people in government that side with the citizens, the rule of law and the Constitution.

I think we will have to wait for almighty God to deliver the final justice to them.
The Homeland Security appropriation bill goes to conference. If Trump doesn’t like what comes out of conference, the Homeland Security gov’t is shut down again. And Trump can still pull the trigger on the emergency but will be immediately challenged in Court.
Tactical move by PDJT. Pelosi may have just gained a first down, but it's still a long way to the end zone. PDJT knows X 1,000 what you do, and he is a strategic thinker and mover to get what he wants. I predict, in the end, the rats will be standing around bloody and dazed wondering what just hit them.
